CommentSold vs. Duda

Prior to using CommentSold I was manually invoicing customers which took up time (and caused a lot of paperwork). Commentsold has saved me a TON of time. I also really like the waitlist feature. When items are restocked we often get sales without having to do anything. Like I mentioned before, I do wish that CommentSold synced with Shopify a little more seamlessly. There are some things that take more time to do because I have to do it on Shopify and CommentSold (like rearranging product photos, assigning items to collections etc)

Duda is great for agencies. There is a good client management area. It's even good for small businesses. They can choose a template and build out their own site. It's easy to customizes a website from a barebones template. There are many customizations in the each widget. The pricing is good for all size businesses. There is no tech headache with updates and backups.

• Setting up for live sales and being able to be live on multiple platforms at once
• Setting up the App was very easy
• Sending push notifications directly to my customers
• Reporting is simple and informative

• Very easy to learn and master
• Builds beautiful, feature rich and easy to maintain cool websites
• Provides an efficient management platform for agencies
• Has a very good and responsive support team

• We also use Shopify and I wish that CommentSold integrated with it a little better. For example, I wish gift cards worked both places. And I wish the collections synced.
• We sometimes have issues getting our lives to work on Instagram
• Customer service is good but I wish they still had the programs where we worked directly with CommentSold reps to help build our business

• Ecommerce can use some improvement--but this should be taken care of in 2023
• A more robust app marketplace
• More custom widgets

Again, this platform has to be one of the easiest web development sites I have ever used in my life. From creating pages to linking buttons, hiding pages, and more, it makes it so much easier to develop websites for clients, including forms and custom membership login portals. It really is the best.

We use CommentSold AND Shopify. We would prefer to use only one but each has different features that we can't let go of. If CommentSold improved their in-store check out and website personalization options, we would consider dropping Shopify

I can't speak to why my agency selected Duda, but I can say from personal experience that building a website in Duda is much easier, and backed by better support than any other website builder I've used. Duda allows me, as a web designer, to still create great looking and unique websites. I find that other platforms, while they may provide nice templates, make it very difficult to deviate from the guardrails they put in place. Through the years, even the most basic site that I've built in Duda is significantly better than those built in other platforms

• Our online sales have increased 50% since starting CommentSold
• We're slowing increasing app downloads every day
• We are building a relationship and connections with customers who watch our live sales

• Much faster project turnaround
• Easy for non-tech staff to handle some of the work
• Costs are lower than we were paying for less capabilities before we switched to Duda
