CompAnalyst vs. GoDaddy Bookkeeping

I highly recommend considering CompAnalyst if you're looking to take your compensation function to the next level. If you're looking to create a "one stop shop" for your compensation needs, then this is the software for you. You can easily manage job descriptions and survey data, and you can empower your HR teams to find information in the tool by giving them access to specific areas of the site. The system can be configured to fit the needs of your organization

Perfect for US market but not transferable to UK market, needs some upgrades for this. Even when set up with a UK address it won't allow changes in tax year end, presuming that tax year starts Jan - Dec. Also shows dollars instead of pounds even though figures were correct with solution.

• It allows us to benchmark our internal comp structure and design effective comp ranges.
• CompAnalyst allows us to benchmark our internal compensation with others in our industry.
• Allows us to market our comp ranges within a region, or across the US.
• Most of our job titles can be found within CompAnalyst.

• Invoicing and linking payments to them.
• Creating estimates for my clients.
• Making tax time easier with easy P and L statements and categorization of expenses.

• the user interface is not very intuitive, takes some time to get used to
• do not like the default to national rates unless you check it off

I gave CompAnalyst this usability rating because, in my experience, CompAnalyst has lots of information that can be analyzed by all factions of compaies

Loses marks on the tax year only being Jan - Dec and inability to change that to a UK format and choose your year end date.

Our Professional Services Consultant and Customer Success Manager are always available to answer our questions. If I have a compensation-related question, they will find the answer for us. They take our product feedback seriously, and the team has implemented a few of our requested features in the system. Their Vice President of Product Management is always open to receiving feedback, and CompAnalyst is always reaching out to customers to demo and test new product offerings.

CompAnalyst gives me bang for my buck. It can get data other surveys may miss. It is easy to use and understand.

I already use GoDaddy for a lot of my website clients so tried the bookkeeping out and really liked it! I tried a few others but nothing worth the price difference. I have tried a few other time trackers as I wish I could live track my time vs entering a little a time.

• Low monthly cost compared to other accounting software
• Easy to use and learn with
