Connecteam vs. WorkWave PestPac

Connecteam is great for distributed teams; the messaging feature is good for DMs and group messaging. Sending updates to relevant staff groups is very easy with Connecteam. Furthermore, having required acknowledgements on updates is paramount for compliance and ensuring all employees have received and understood new information that was sent to the team

For any route heavy organization, PestPac is a great choice due to the route optimization. It is great for businesses that are moving more online and into the digital space. For smaller organizations, you can make PestPac work but the complexity and training would be a barrier to entry. PestPac does more modular pricing so the cost can be affordable if you aren't needing many of the add-on features, but things can add up quick if looking to incorporate basic service functions when it comes to customer service.

• Daily team productivity with time clock feature
• Easy of running weekly payroll reports
• Employees to manage and own their time before being approved for payroll
• Easy to add absences and PTO
• Free until you need more than 10 users
• It is great that you can tell where your employees are logging in from ie the office, home or in the field

• Easy to search for a customer by many different data points
• Has a lot of customization features, such as naming service types and preset notes

• Adding the ability for employee to be able to set up their own reminders would be beneficial for those that seem to forget to clock in or out

Due to the customizability of the software, the usability is not the easiest to pick up and especially train on. We find that office staff take the longest to train due to the steeper learning curve. It is not a plug and play and every company uses PestPac a little differently so sometimes it can be difficult to get support because what works for one organization may not work for another due to how they set up and use PestPac internally

Connecteam is far more robust in terms of features. The pricing is better too

Ultimately we went with PestPac due to the reporting but also at the time other softwares had limits to API integration and that was something that was important to us with our business model. The route optimization tool in PestPac was also far better than anything else we had seen out there

• Before Connecteam I hated "Payroll Mondays" because it took a few hours to do everyone's time and upload it for the accountant. Now it takes maybe 15 mintues to do the entire process. I feel like it is more accurate and definitely less time-consuming - saving me money in the long run.
• Connecteam has also allowed for quick glance time management to reduce overtime. Having accurate info allowing us to redeploy team members as needed and get other off the clock sooner. Or if we are having OT it is not a surprise - we can plan for it
• Our accountant has love the reporting and has even recommended it to other small business because it provides all the info needed.

• WorkWave PestPac has certainly improved our time management by getting us off of paper scheduling. It allows us to map and easily move appointments which makes our techs more efficient
• Having all documentation stored digitally and be locked to the correct account helps us stay compliant
