Our agency has a number of federal and private grants tied to personnel costs and allocations. DATIS e3 is extraordinary at allowing the end user to slice information as needed for complex reporting.

Unless I'm in an unusual situation with an employee, it only takes a few minutes to complete payroll with Inova.Some features are not yet fully customizable and, as a result, force us to reverse engineer processes in a roundabout way that does not necessarily meet our business needs.

• Calculate tax deductions and distribute paychecks for auditing and tax reporting purposes.
• Applicant Tracking feature that allows you to create and post vacancies on the job page of the website and on various job portals.
• Design plans for onboarding sessions and communicate with new hires.

• Supervision documentation is difficult to use if the supervisor doesn’t adhere to the rigid schedule
• Applicant site doesn’t automatically integrate with outside recruitment tools, so tracking of recruitment data is complicated.
• DATIS has struggled with customer service support unless you have a dedicated contact

• I would like the ATS component that monitors candidate hiring to be able to trigger more hiring activities like connecting with our background check provider and scheduling a prospect appointment.
• The benefit statement could be more advanced.
• A little more update for the UXI.

DATIS e3 is a different kind of system that may not be the solution for someone who is looking for an “off the shelf” solution. It is flexible and customizable to meet the specific needs of your organization. It is robust and thorough. They could benefit from spending money on a mobile solution.

Our company implemented the use of Gusto, and although the payroll service is excellent, the main reason we switched to Inova Payroll was the poor customer service that this program offered us in order to solve the "MANY" problems that were shown on the site.

• DATIS has allowed us to spend less time on payroll processing and accounting of payroll
• Better grant management allowing us to minimize the risk of unclaimed revenue
