CustomShow.com vs. SalesHood

It is well suited for larger organizations. It cannot be used by single individuals like people who use Prezi or Powerpoint. If you are a large organization and looking to save on productivity, time, and improve branding across marketing and sales pitches, this software is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend anyone heading up a company with 25 employees or more consider the software.

[SalesHood] has been helpful during virtual onboarding when the team is not able to get together for in-person trainings. And the ability to test retention is helpful for the user and for management as well. However, it is one of those platforms that takes time out of what a rep does best, which is sell, so it may not be the most well received.

• It integrates video seamlessly into any presentation you create.
• It have an incredible slide library management component that stores everything in the cloud for the users.
• Used by major fortune 100 companies, it allows for organizations to present their best and look their best.

• Sales-centric: the platform is literally built for salespeople and with salespeople in mind
• Collaborative Customer Success: the SalesHood team is SO responsive and always willing to collaborate and brainstorm ideas
• Easy to Use: They have a fantastic onboarding program to get new admins started and the platform is easy to use.

• I think the analytics piece could be improved a little more.

• Finding a specific training path that I'm looking for can be difficult via browsing. Best way is to use the search bar.
• I wish there was a way to provide peer feedback. It might be a setting that our team just doesn't use, but it would be nice to see questions that peers have, or places they're struggling and to be able to comment or reach out directly to help.

Because it provides a great user experience, it makes my organization look good in front of pitches, and the software is great from a collaboration perspective. Plus, I like the fact that i can use video incredible well with all of my presentations. It has minor challenges and takes time to figure out, but once you do the sky is the limit.

IT has been useful and better than some of the other tools we have used.

Our CSM at SalesHood is always responsive to us, we see the support team respond to our queries quickly, and even the CEO Elay Cohen is entirely plugged in. If an in-app NPS score is rendered that looks to be unfavorable, they reach out to understand why and to see if they can help turn the experience around if it's education or enhancement that's needed. It's a great team there to support you.

I think they are all stacking up against each other. Powerpoint is a free alternative. But I think CustomShow doesn't focus on better looking powerpoint slides....it focuses on better looking presentations period. Because of that, CustomShow is really in a different category of business presentation software and up there with Clearslide.

I chose SalesHood because I knew the team is amazing based on my past relationship with them, and because I knew the features met the needs my organization had. They may not have had all the frills that other vendors have, but we didn't need frills. We needed functionality and flexibility.

• It has had a positive ROI in that the level of productivity in creating presentations has grown.

• Provides proof to executive management and shareholders - the value that training and enablement brings to the organization
• Ability to quickly create trainings and roll them out to the target audience with deadlines
• Tracking also provides the ability of the enablement team to identify gaps and adjust accordingly
