DeskTime vs. FingerCheck

When we made the decision to go cloud based and send our employees home to work remotely we needed something that would help us and them manage their time and keep everyone on track. Desktime makes the team more aware of how they are spending their time both individually and as a team. It allows them to see and track what makes them most productive and what times of the day they are most engaged. Keeps projects on track.

Its good for a company that wants employees to see their available PTO and request it themselves. it's easy for each employee to clock in and out. The supervisors can have access to all their employees and see who is working at any given moment. It's a pretty good system.

• Integrates very well with payroll system
• Extremely well in working out employee benefit accruals

• App resources usage - it's lagging sometimes

• It can be hard to tell when the last time your PTO was updated.
• If you forget to clock in - you need a supervisor to approve your request.
