Elastic Observability vs. ServiceNow IT Operations Management

We can use this Elastic Observability in our business problems such as Creating internal/operational efficiencies issues, customer relations/service, and business process outcomes issues. This product has a lot of features for the above problems. But this product may be having some issues when charting purposes. But it can adjust for that purpose.

If you’re integrating with a CCaaS platform, don't just stop at "Ticket Sync." Focus on the Service Mapping. Knowing which technical components support which "Customer Journeys" is the biggest value-add you can provide to your customers' businesses. Trust me, they will know the value added.

• Linking multipe records (Knowledge Items, Problem, change,. CI) to a single incident
• A customers 'super" user has access to all cases that are filled by them.
• When a change is filed and you link to the CI involved. You get an overview of all CI that depends on the involved CI.

• A lot of flexibility in the licensing options which can get overwhelming.
• They are just starting to get into helping with DevOps so I don't have as much experience there but it's a challenge for us.
• Pricing negotiations - although that can be pretty much every vendor.

Splunk is a very good product but the licensing costs are high; we utilise the best of both worlds by using both products for slightly different purposes. We put the voluminous data with simple use cases in Elastic where it doesn't cost too much and can be searched quickly while putting the less voluminous data with more complex use cases in Splunk so we can take advantage of Splunk's very comprehensive but often much slower SPL search query language

ServiceNow IT Operations Management is more flexible and easier to customize without altering core code. ServiceNow IT Operations Management enables more robust third-party integrations (e.g., Jira, Slack, ScienceLogic). ServiceNow IT Operations Management is easier to use and to implement. It is cloud-based and doesn't require "on-premise" infrastructure or solution.

• With the regular use of ServiceNow IT Operations Management platform, our incident resolution time has gone down by over 90% over the past year
• Our access and role granting process has been streamlined leading to increased developer hours by around ~90 PM
