I find it is best when you need to connect to a computer after hours and the end user has left for the day. I can remote in to the computer without interaction and troubleshoot the issues as required. The connection is speed and works well unlike some other remote access software

It's great for presentations. It makes even the most drab presentation more interesting, and gives you the ability to add animated elements to your presentation. Everybody uses Microsoft PowerPoint, but for Mac it's a little slow and unresponsive. Flip PDF Pro for Mac kind of solves that issue – you can build your project in InDesign, export it out, then import it into Flip PDF Pro. It sounds like a bit of a process but it's actually very easy. Any designer can pick it up and run with it.

When I get any pdf form to fill, I use this software to fill in all the required details. It is very easy to fill any form in pdf format in this software. Whenever I need to sign any official document digitally, I use this software. It also helps us to protect our confidential documents with password protection. We add passwords to our confidential documents with the help of this software.

You can customize or add certain things like your title, logo, toolbar icon appearance, background, fonts, etc. It feels a lot like a design program – which is nice, as a designer.
The program allows you to embed almost any sort of media into your flip book – GIFs are easy to add in and work with, they add a dynamic element to your presentation (which wasn't possible before).
You can create these things called “hot spots” – basically certain trigger areas in your document that can activate something when clicked – like take you to a e-commerce site, for example.

OCR comes in handy when you need to scan a document image for embedded text for edits. This feature is a common tool but the accuracy of OCR helps for quick edits.
Conversion options are a plus and a must-have when you need to convert between Microsoft Office and PDF.
During the pandemic, the ability to offer digital signing with personalized signatures is a major plus. Glad to have this tool available when needed.

My documents sometimes had a problem with import and output – sometimes it would take a substansial amount of time to export something.
In their mulit-lingual version, our freelance linguist caught some mistakes, some words were not translated or translated into other languages – which can make us look pretty bad.
There's a limit on audio you can output for each page in your document – it had to be "one audio for two pages".

It is just very easy to use. It has a good user interface on it, the items are where I expect them to be and I find it to work as I expect it to work without surprises.

I've never had to call support so I do not have an answer for this question. I find the software works well but we have a support desk who would work with them if we had back end issues

There are several PDF conversion programs out there, but really Flip PDF Pro for Mac is probably the best one that I've encountered. The amount of versatility in the program really sells it to me. It works just like a design program, but as a customizable PDF, and it's easy-to-use interface really helps speed things up with our workflow and process. There's a lot of competitors out there, but none of them really stack up.

I tried Smallpdf for sometime. It is also a very good tool for pdf related tasks but it doesn't provide a comprehensive functionality to edit a pdf document. I couldn't modify the text of my pdf documents in Smallpdf. But SodaPDF gives me the functionality to edit/change the text of my pdf documents. So I shifted from Smallpdf to this software.

A recent project came across my desk where we had to recreate static files into editable word documents. Thank goodness for the OCR feature. It made for an almost flawless conversion. Minor edit here and there, no fault of the program. It was more due to the file quality of the original scan. Saved me time.
The feedback option is another plus: The review/comment function is great for easily getting document feedback. We just started using this feature. Another time-saver.
Document management due to file conversion options makes it easier to keep documents all in one place. Also, the ability to share these documents with coworkers is a major plus!
