Encompass CDI Platform vs. NordLayer

Encompass is great for pre-qualifications since you can play with the numbers but it's not user friendly when filling out separate program documents. I have different forms to fill out for VA vs Conventional and it's hard to remember if I'm missing any.

NordLayer has become an invaluable resource for our security posture and day-to-day activity. The primary use case is preventing staff members from accessing sensitive resources on an unencrypted connection, applying NordLayer and conditional access policies in congruency. The ability to create teams and assigned them to specific dedicated servers is also helpful and allows for further security segmentation

• Alerts - those are great when you forget to do something
• Branch Resource Center - shows you what is missing as well
• Top banner - showing the loan in a snapshot

• For VA loans - it would be great if those forms were completely separate or in a folder
• Have the fico score at the top of the banner (snapshot of loan)
• 2015 - remind us when a possible fee is missing

• The browser plugin needs some work, or some research about what browser/OS restrictions may limit its functionality. Ours does not work at all even after contacting support so we do not use it
• Toast/Windows notifications scheduled or deployed through admin center would be amazing. The ability to remind a user who has been disconnected for X hours would be a great feature

I can't remember if Calyx Point was better then Encompass because I haven't used it in over 10 years. I selected Encompass because the company uses it.
