Epic MyChart vs. Zanda (formerly Power Diary)

Before using Epic MyChart as a company we would contact our customers to inform them of results or appointments. With Epic My Chart, this has saved valuable resources as customers can now access their results on the app interface. This is very smooth and effective. We can now send direct marketing to them and generally keep them well informed.

The most important thing is that I feel confident that my client records are kept secure and private, and that Power Diary has strict security and privacy measures in place
and compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. Data is
encrypted, and two factor authentication is required to access the system. I can't think of any scenarios where it would be less appropriate to use.

• Product Functionality
• Integration with Xero

• Slow communication form for private messaging, could add a live chat feature option.
• Better organization to have my chart of multiple companies flow seamlessly on the patient/individual side. A lot of times they have to create multiple accounts, one person provider.
• Being able to use the app outside of the US allows more access and freedom-range for those that travel or work internationally.

I think Power Diary is relatively intuitive however of late, over development of certain features with insufficient user experience testing, and, in my opinion, no desire to resolve the concerns of customers shows me that Power Diary's business model is not customer centric, but self centric and most businesses with this ethos fail in time.

More market share, so people are more used to Epic MyChart.

This is the first time I have used this type of practice management system. I used the Specialist Homelessness Information Platform (SHIP) in my previous role, which made it easier for me to transition to using Power Diary.
