Epicor BisTrack vs. Pirate Ship

Epicor BisTrack works well for us, as we have the WMS gun and a huge warehouse with inventory that needs to be located. It is also nice for looking at long-term product sales history.

If you need mailing labels, Pirate Ship is cheap, very organized and creates SCAN forms for USPS

• Cross project communication
• Direct customers, subcontractors and GC's through the construction process
• Dynamically move between projects, changes and scopes

• Great average ship rates for USPS domestic and international.
• Tracking bulk shipments is easy.
• It integrates with chargify.

• Easier User Interface; hard to navigate or learn
• Financial module could use improvement; i.e. the Accounts Receivable function is lacking and hard to find information easily
• More customization of the built-in reporting and analytics

• I wish unused shipping labels were flagged more clearly to make it easy to request refunds
• No multi-user functionality, so you have to share an account
• Better email notifications about things like undeliverable packages

I've used many other operating systems; AS/400, Oracle, etc and this one is the easiest to manipulate the information needed. I am certain there are more functions that I need to learn.

I have not had to use Pirate Ship's customer support because their product is wonderful and easy to use. I am sure based on the quality of their product that their customer service is also fantastic

Epicor BisTrack helps keep track of things better and it in fact much easier to use.

Pirate Ship is the best for USPS shipping labels, hands down.

• Has helped us with understanding our inventory and monitoring levels
• From a sales standpoint, seeing which products are losing margin and running reports to find trends in sales
