EverWebinar vs. MeetingBurner (discontinued)

EverWebinar is a great product and tool for digital entrepreneurs and course creators. Or for anyone who utilizes live and prerecorded evergreen webinars to sell things and reach their customers to solve problems. It is a robust program that does many things and does them well.

It is well suited for a conference call with a group of people as well as a great tool to share information on a screen so you don't have to bring people together in person.

• MeetingBurner allows me to schedule conference calls in advance and provides me with easy dial-in instructions for myself and the attendees. Many of our calls occur on a regular basis and we are able to duplicate past events similar to it in a few simple clicks.
• MeetingBurner allows me to share a link to join a conference room for multiple people to join and see my screen. Screen sharing is a great feature that make training people much more convenient.
• Because we are a nonprofit, we do not have a budget for communications. Having a free product that offers exactly what we need is key without any bells and whistles and pressure to upgrade in any way.

• EverWebinar can improve on the way they have the timing set-up it's set to GMT and not local time. Makes it confusing.
• EverWebinar can improve on their reporting. It's very limited and you can't really tell if people showed up later and watched your pitch or if they only watched so many minutes before your pitch. They need to really improve their reporting. It's super confusing. Although the data charts look nice, it's not helpful.
• EverWebinar doesn't really play nice with ActiveCampaign. So be warned if you're trying to connect both of them. You will have to find a third party software to integrate them nicely.

• It does take a a few minutes to download the application to run the webinar portion but other than that I don't have major improvements.

If a product is working well, I see no reason to change it!

Everwebinar has overall good usability due to its easy-to-use interface. This is the main reason I am giving this rating. There are more things that could be improved including the landing page templates. We have reflected this to support however this has not been addressed at all.

Fortunately, I have not had to contact support for anything up to this point so really can't give a rating. I will be sure to update my review in the event that I need to in the future. Hopefully I will not need to as it is very user friendly

EverWebinar is easier to use and a more robust platform. The significant factor is the functionality of analytics, which lets you know how your webinars are performing and can make adjustments as necessary. The other platforms do not offer this and can be more complicated to use and implement.

MeetingBurner doesn't have a free trial period that leads to a required paid option. We use the conference line a few times a month and don't have the capacity to spend money on a product.

• We've been able to easily make back the money that EverWebinar costs with selling $300 products up to $2000 products.
• Automating an already successful webinar with EverWebinar is a smart move. Don't try and create one that isn't proven to work.
• There are several webinar platforms out there but EverWebinar does a great job with turning it evergreen.
