Gallup Access vs. Nearpod

I used Gallup Access for the CliftonStrengths assessment and I do believe it was a great platform for that to be on. However, it took me a second to figure out if I was on the correct website. I'm not sure how, but being able to easily see that taking the assessment on this website would be super helpful. I think I struggled with it because CliftonStrengths book was red and white and the website is black and green. Colors are important when people are looking for certain products.

Nearpod is great for teachers who want data to help gauge how engaged students are during lessons. Additionally, teachers in one-to-one schools can better use these tools with a lesson delivery system like Nearpod. Nearpod is especially effective when a presenter has to deliver information to a large class.

• Provide timely and individualized feedback.
• Allow for the teacher to check for understanding, for the entire class, in one view.
• Present an array of different interactive lesson items, at the fingertips of every student.

• I want a drop down button available in all parts of the website on the upper left hand corner
• I'd love to see major companies that use Gallup Access - might have more of a desire to use the website if name brands are on there

While there is some learning curve to fully understand and know how to lead a lesson with Nearpod, once mastered successfully, Nearpod lessons are simple to create and deliver. When leading a lesson, it is relatively simple to see how everyone in the class performs and how well they participate and understand.

The support staff for Nearpod is top-notch. I have not had technical issues, but I did have a concern about my bill and they reached out to me nearly immediately to address the problem. I was very satisfied with how they handled the interaction from beginning to end. They did a great job.

GA is a very professional tool, in my past experience, other platforms had felt very lacking, they cover what is needed but GA has really lived up to the expectations, I was surprised by what it does and then some more, there are still some aspects that need more polishing but you get over them with time.

I don't know of a product off hand that does what Nearpod can do. Between the library of pre-made lessons, the ability to create your own lesson content, the ability to add interactive content, Nearpod offers a unique engagement platform for instruction

• I can't give numbers yet but we have been able to split our most recent project up based on our strengths outlined by cliftonstrengths
• Another positive impact is that we were able to bond as a team, we just got jumbled up and put on a new team so the ability to connect with our manager was really awesome

• The impact is awesome. It gives students a digital option other than PowerPoint for presentations.
• The feedback tool allows you to follow students in realtime.
• The shallow learning curve made it easy encourage other faculty to try it.
