Greenshades vs. PaycheckCity

We used to have ADP for payroll, the gold standard. I guess to save a few bucks my company switched to Greenshades. From time to time my payroll stub does not show up on time. I asked my HR department about this and was told they are not fond of Greenshades. I call Greenshades to ask about the delay. They do not have any support contact information on the employee website I use to get my payroll information. I had to google them and found a support contact on their website. Not good. When I spoke to someone to ask about the pay stub delays, he hung up on me.

This is a great tool that works extremely well for smaller businesses. I am not sure how it would perform against enterprise tools.

• Managing the hours that you have worked during each pay period.

• Easily generates reports and year end tax data
• Does not limit or add to cost when needing more resources
• Saves us tons of time by streamlining the process

• Communication - New product rollouts
• Billing - Rarely gets this right the first time
• Timeliness on making year-end submissions available

• Could have more functionality but it is definitely great for the cost.

In my previous place of employment, we used the Paycom system as our resource for managing hours and time. I do believe that the Paycom system had more privacy and safety aspects implemented with their software. However, Greenshades Software is a very user-friendly website that provides all of the resources that are necessary to do the job well!

This is really the only tool I have personally used but it has saved a lot of time and worked well so we have not had the need to try another. There are not really any competitors or options we have tried besides traditional payment methods
