Rafflecopter is widely used and people have usually heard of it before. The other way we coordinate giveaways is to have a. spreadsheet with all the entries. Then use Google's random number generator which correlates to one of the rows in the spreadsheet which would be our …
Rafflecopter is the best platform that is out there for giveaways and there is not another that can compete with what they offer. It is such a good platform to use and easy for anyone to set up. We have used this with many different types of businesses and have had great success.
Having used all three software platforms, I believe that both ShortStack and Woobox have surpassed Rafflecopter in terms of features set. It's been a few years since I've used Woobox and Shortstack so they may not be fully comparable any longer.
Rafflecopter is well suited for giveaways where you want to have people enter in multiple ways and having the option to choose specific ways. For example, if you want people to follow on social media sites (YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) or post on the social media sites. It has a great feature to customize your own option as well. For podcasts like us, we like to have entries follow us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts
If you want a fully integrated and customized solution Votigo is the way to go. But it is not a cheap or fast option. If you can work within the self service template it can be a fast, inexpensive option.
Rafflecopter helps to connect our business with our clients outside of clinic.
Rafflecopter allows the ability for our clients to spread the word about our clinic through our social media efforts.
Rafflecopter truly lets us see how successful we are with our clients, especially because if our patients were not truly satisfied with our services, then they would not want to take part in the giveaways and promotions that we run through Rafflecopter.
I think not that the problem was with Rafflecopter, but rather our company and it's approach to Social Media. Being a conservative B2B company in the manufacturing / safety industry doesn't, at this time, offer us many "social" connections that leads to sale/brand awareness. I think we might be better served on a different social network, say LinkedIn. On a personal note, it was a pleasure using Rafflecopter. Easy, fast, cheap and I can see how it can be hugely effective to a social media campaign for those that are in a different industry than the one I work in. I will certainly be recommending the product to my friends and other businesses that are more appropriately served by Rafflecopter.
For a custom or API implementation I think it is a great option and they have great customer service. The self service option is too rigid and I need more application options and design customization
