Hudu vs. Zoho WorkDrive

We are a smaller organization, but we have multiple locations. For our use, Hudu is great for managing assets for multiple locations. I can see Hudu being well suited for organizations of any size. I can't think of any scenarios where Hudu would not be well suited or appropriate. The cost is minimal, and the cloud hosting has been excellent for us so far.

Zoho WorkDrive is probably the best for small organizations because of its affordability and the easy of setting up. Zoho is very well suited for facilitating the sharing of documents securely to allow for efficient collaboration. It is also supported by enterprise grade security, making it well suited for storing and sharing documents securely.

• It is every easy to share documents/ files using Zoho WorkDrive
• Zoho WorkDrive is far much cheaper than similar solutions, like OneDrive/ Google Workspace but still gives much more storage than those
• The support from the Zoho WorkDrive team is very solid, and always able to respond within minutes

• Zoho WorkDrive has limitations in sync and performance.
• There is Sync limitations which lacks the selective or block and make it inefficient for large files
• There is navigation issues like trash and shared items and tasks are hidden in menus.
• Large files uploading and downloading is very slow. The speed lacks
• In the storage part if we edit the file, the file takes the full file version and store it.
• Missing feature is there is no proper encryption for the files and folders.

The usability is extremely simple. It is very easy to navigate, add assets, and link assets. Hudu has many ways to customize assets to meet your needs, and offers some good integrations to help you automate some of that work. The expirations feature is also great, because it helps you to stay ahead of expiring contracts.

Very user friendly and I've had difficulties with many other CRMs/ WorkDrives. This one is definitely top notch. In fact, I used Zoho WorkDrive back in 2015 for my first company, then I worked for a company which also used Zoho WorkDrive and now I have another company and we're using it again.

Hudu is much cheaper than IT Glue. While it may not have all the features that IT Glue has, it has all of the features that we would need. We tried self hosting BookStack before trying Hudu, because we had heard that is a great alternative without a cost, but we weren't able to make it work the way we wanted it to.

We are using IDrive e2 since last 2 year for NAS storage backup and Idrive e2 pricing are very budget friendly.

• Hudu has saved many hours by simply being able to find information about our assets in seconds
• Hudu has allowed us to stay organized, which has saved us many hours or searching through spreadsheets
• The low cost of Hudu has saved us several dollars financially, compared to other options

• Zoho WorkDrive makes knowledge transfer process easy, when someone leaves or join company.
• Zoho WorkDrive helps engineers and developer sharing API docs, code snippet, RCA etc.
• Zoho WorkDrive is part of zoho workplace, so we don't have to invest on standalone apps and services.
