Infor Learning Management (LMS) vs. SkyPrep LMS

We have enjoyed how easy it is to get training to employees, both onsite and off, as it is a cloud based solution. We previously had a myriad of applications to try and deliver, track, and report on trainings. Infor Learning Management allows for a quick look at where we are at within our business as well as an in depth dive of each users certification process. Our only request is the cloud platform be more accessible for data mining. With our current BI offerings we bring most of the data on premises and this involves a few hoops currently.

SkyPrep LMS is well-suited to organizations that do not currently utilize an LMS. The support provided from step one through implementation is excellent. SkyPrep LMS not only wants to help make an organization run more efficiently when it comes to upskilling employees and/or clients, they also want to learn from the needs of organizations in order to better serve all of their clients.

• Training and course reminders for employees.
• External systems are easily integrated.
• Content creation is a simple process that can result in high-quality content. Learners may swiftly review the author's high-quality information and expand their knowledge.

• Assessment Building and Quizzes are user friendly
• The reporting features for both internal and external use by clients is robust, but also controllable

• If one liked to purchase some training material or content built-in shopping cart is missing.

• Many of the features in the newly released "Studio" are difficult to understand

I am giving 8 instead of 10 because we need to implement some new features in the system and this is a long process to accomplish. If it was easier and shorter, I would give a 10. Also, lately we are facing some technical issues which impacted some users experience, but Certpoint is working hard to catch up on this.

I say 9 instead of 10 not because of any lack of confidence in SkyPrep but only because I can't be sure how large or responsive my market -- male-friendly social workers and other helping professionals -- will be to my offerings.

The user interface is simple, clean, and intuitive to use for both learners and educators. Learning modules can be arranged in any fashion creators/educators desire and have assessments embedded within. Ordering of modules can be enforced, and content can be made optional or required easily. Everything is from top to bottom is customizable.

Infor Learning Management was selected because the organization owned other Lawson/Infor products and we were concerned about the integration. Ease of integration was a primary selection criteria. The price was also better given the products we already owned.

SkyPrep LMS was the most cost-effective solution that had all our desired features and functionality. Each platform has a lot of similarities and for us, ensuring ease of navigation and cost were top priorities. SkyPrep LMS appeared to be the most user-friendly -- the others had great features and functions, but SkyPrep LMS appeared as the cleanest.

• Previously we had a limited # of clients who paid for access to our LMS. SkyPrep LMS allows us to proudly charge for access to our LMS now. We expect to achieve our ROI in the next 12 - 34 months.
