LeagueApps
We had an absolute breeze with the dashboard, notifications, privacy protection, reporting tools, the NextUp community's professional development opportunities, and network and tournament registration. However, we were less thrilled with the integration with our existing mobile coaching and parent's apps, eCommerce platforms, scheduling platforms, and web-based tools. Also, the marketing tools felt just a little cookie-cutter and didn't fit our needs as well as some other tools we've used.

I have already recommended the app to other coaches in the district. We have also talked about implementing the app for our section and conference. Due to the volatile nature of our sports schedule, the quick and easy communication tool is invaluable. Also, the ability to send to multiple people on the same account is super slick.

Cons
LeagueApps
  • The external app integrations can be a bit buggy.
  • The Youth Sports Websites are rather bland.
  • The provided integrated payment gateway wasn't very price competitive.

TeamSnap
  • It would be nice to see who has viewed the notification message but has yet to respond.
  • I would like to have an idea of how many people have viewed a message sent to the team.
  • It's hard to know which communication channel is more effective - sending a message or using the chat feature.

I would have to say that for the most part, the only time we have had to use CS is when we needed to update the board members from year to year. Then we have a new administrator, or "owner" of the platform. We would then need to transfer the email from one person to another. Otherwise, even with billing, there have been no issues. It's flawless and well worth the cost.

My favorite was Jersey Watch among all customizable automated scheduling, online registration, roster management, platforms. Jersey
Watch included: built-in registration features,
custom forms with questions and pricing that met the needs of our club. The donation feature to encouraged parents to
donate at the time of registration. We had seamless communication with parents, players, and coaches. Also, the messaging tools allowed us to send emails and texts with a few clicks from
your computer or phone with important updates like cancellations,
registration announcements, and fundraiser info. We were able to ask candidates to complete background checks directly from our
account; My second favorite was the Bench App. It was an app platform that was like the Trello of event organizing. Just the right features, with everything you'd expect, but nothing more. We found it easy and fun to use. It was a 100% free and ad-free app, but we outgrew it.

Drivn.today is a horrible app/alternative to TeamSnap. Their app is super clumsy and not intuitive whatsoever. TeamSnap's website is nicely organized, and the app is simple and well organized. The app carries almost all the same features as the website, and it is a fully-functional alternative to the website. The alerts and notifications are super helpful.
