Livestorm vs. Proficonf (discontinued)

Livestorm is well suited to use when you need to reach a group of more than ten people. It wouldn't be a good solution if you wanted interaction from the audience in more than the form of chat.

Whenever you need to speak with someone who is not an experienced internet-user, Proficonf is the best. I mean there's a big green button you need to press. Sometimes you need to put your name. That's it. Even the old folks can handle it well. Also, we find Proficonf surprisingly good working with a non-stable internet connection. I mean, of course, quality is decreasing (they say it's adaptive), but the video remains smooth. Even in those cases, Proficonf has probably the smoothest video among all video conferencing services.

• Excellent customer service.
• Lots of good data for analytics.
• Participants do not need to download anything.
• Feedback and recommendations are acted on.
• Easy to logistical information on registrants and attendees.
• Supports integrations.

• Super-easy to start a meeting

• They need to fix their iOS.
• Maybe more features would be good.
• Separate service for webinars.

Making sure the permission settings for your camera, microphone or browser can sometimes be tricky. If we have a guest, we always have to double-check these. It's also not super intuitive that you need to "Get on Stage" from the webinar page.

The customer service representatives are extremely attentive. They do an excellent job of trying to understand the scope of the issue and follow it through until it has been resolved. When I have provided them with recommendations for improvement they have taken them to heart and many times implemented them. I trust that if I ever have a problem they will be there to help

Proficonf proved to be a bit better than appear.in in terms of video quality and features. Zoom and Skype weren't any good for us. Proficonf is completely web-based, so it doesn't require a download like Skype or Zoom. Proficonf has much better video quality, there's no competition on that subject. And it's so much easier to use. However Skype is also a messenger, so we are still sometimes using it.

• It's been great! It's the very bottom of the funnel for us so it helps accelerate leads and create opportunities.
