Microsoft Copilot Studio vs. SAP NetWeaver BPM

It has performed exceptionally well where I have required deep contextual understanding , multi deimension analysis or web research. Recently it helped me in the implementation of SAP Project. It helped to prepare documentation like business blue prints, conduct workshops. Understand business requirement with the help of reviewing the information by summarizing.

It is well suited when we need to integrate business processes with SAP ERP and SAP CRM - the solution can be integrated with business rules/procedures defined in SAP ERP/CRM and NetWeaver can be used to monitor the rules and flag off exceptions. When there are multiple workflows running, it tends to slow down running of these processes. Also, it entirely depends on SAP portal for it to run efficiently.

• Virtual paper trail. Iterations of process and current documentation are all stored as "artifacts", leaving a great trail.
• Configuration of users. BPM somewhat magically determines which users will be impacted and automates rules.
• A pro (that is also a con) is the design interface. If you know what you are doing, it is incredibly powerful and malleable.

• Ability to combine multiple sources in one query (indexing)
• SharePoint integration - word count limit detrimental
• Clearer communication and understanding of features and limitations

At first, it stands out in integrating with the Microsoft ecosystem like Teams, Word, and Outlook. It makes simple for creation and deployment of AI agents and tools with out heavy coding. Great for the purpose of creating AI chat bots for regular tasks. It is excellent for quickly running mock demos.

As a big fan of SAP in general, the BPM solution fits right in with all the other things SAP does well, and does it with incredible efficiency

I would give 9 as it works well for us by utilizing the agentic part we are able to utilize the capabilities of copilot studio, If the billing structure and hallucinations can be corrected I would have given 10 as well. I would recommend everyone to give it a try if you want to up your game in Agentic AI with clients.

We have our own tech support for systems, I would say they probably could use more training on it, I don't really think it's anything regarding the SAP system, but more the knowledge they have on the system itself. It seems to take longer for them to fix any issues we may come across.

We had an excellent experience during the online training of Microsoft Copilot Studio. We were given training which included complete informations in the session. The session include the how we can use it. It gave us the complete guide. We had recorded sessions for future reference.

It is worldwide accepted and we already have the workspace and other tools from Microsoft family which compels us to go for copilot rather than google as it gives you wide range to explore in other areas in the same workspace. Rating and worldwide acceptance is more for Microsoft when compared to any other tool with respect to Agentic AI platform.

I found the initial setup of NetWeaver is much simpler than other products especially in an SAP environment where we have SAP ERP/HRM/CRM as it can be well integrated with other SAP products. The only drawback is the need/dependency on SAP Portal. It is better suited in an environment where SAP ERP is running.

As it is low code it empowers everyone even with non technical person to create and deploy and publish the custom agents. Then agents can operate and plan, learn and scale the complex and challenging tasks across the entire business process. It helps to connect with data and take respective action.

• Helped us harness integrated benefit from having SAP ERP/CRM by leveraging NetWeaver to define business processes/rules and monitor exceptions
• Did not have any negative experience except for the fact that at times when multiple rules run, it can be somewhat slow
