Norton Small Business vs. Symantec Ghost Solution Suite

We are a small company; Norton Small Business gives us the freedom for our remote employees to work securely using their personal laptop /smartphone. Less appropriate: Someone with a few separate locations that require separate cybersecurity environment but would still benefit from centralized management.

It helps to manage the mass of computers we use. We use GSS to see where and who deployed software to what computers. This can particularly be helpful when dealing with license usage, and tracking how many licenses we have left, and where those licenses have been used. We are able to use it to manage clients.

• perfectly works for us, nothing as of now
• works as expected, found reasonable for us

• Setting up PXE has a learning curve.
• Still trying to figure out if we can create one golden (master) image for all hardware types.
• Would love a way to be able to refresh PCs with effecting user and program data.

It's good for a small business that needs cybersecurity without needing to spend a lot of money. Besides being affordable it seems to be extremely, reliable, and easy to use.

We did not actively consider any other software. Overall we did do a basic understanding of a pricing & features and found that the offerings from Symantec were better than others even prima facie. At the current time for an organisation such as ours we do not believe that there is any other option worth active consideration

Once the research had been done, it seemed that Symantec Ghost Solution Suite was the best suited for our environment. The initial cost was fair and the return on investment was well worth what we had to pay up front. I would recommend Ghost Solution Suite to any larger company.
