OpenText Operations Bridge vs. ServiceNow Security Operations

Any customer who is looking for a unified monitoring solution with event Management and also looking for AIOPs. Good coverage of technologies coverage, however if any customer looking for better dashboarding solution then it may not fit. thou MF got BVD but it seems like more complex

Tight integration across ticketing, CMDB and ServiceNow Security Operations workflows automation module definitely stand out. In addition, the mean time to detection has reduced in my organization leading to a more efficient security operations with less burnout.

• If you are considering purchasing a product, keep Micro Focus Operations Bridge in mind before making a purchasing decision.
• In addition, the purpose of the product is comprehensive, which means it will benefit your business in many ways.

• Automatically creates a ticket for security incidents.
• Complete root cause Analysis of the problem.
• Ability to provide more knowledge because of threat intelligence.

• Overall dashboards can be better
• Agent onboarding can be more automated than manual

• Even though I mentioned that we built incident response playbooks, we found the learning curve to be steep, having drag and drop or something similar to this would be appreciated

Seamless integration across modules mentioned in the previous sections along with the ability to automate security workflows are the main reasons.

Instead of integrating Spunk to ServiceNow ticketing and asset tool, I was able to get a native built in integration across ServiceNow modules and this helped a lot.

• Monitoring, OOB plugins, Event Management and AIOps are good
• Dashboard and agent onboarding could be improved as one of our customer was not happy with the same

• Positive ROI since most of the security incidents can be closed via a security centre.
