The best place for Oracle Warehouse Builder is at the business IT level. It's not suited for business-level users. They are easy confused. One way to reduce the confusion for the developers is to set up the workspaces based on the requirements that are discovered in design sessions. if you need to automate reports pulling information directly from your data source Savant is the tool you need, it's very simple, easy to set up and also it's very reliable, we've never had a time where the service is down and that's something worth mentioning because making something easy to use and reliable is not easy.

• What I noticed is that sometimes OWB doesn't generate the best SQL in the package especially when there are a high number of source tables in the ETL. It would be nice if ETL developers were allowed to update the generated packages in the database directly.
• Another thing - moving OWB ETLs from one database to another one could be easier - for example it would be nice to just copy the generated packages from one database to the other one without doing the deployment of these ETLs through OWB.

Because it has made things much easier for us, sometimes the stake holders need the data in a certain way in a certain time and with Savant that's not a problem anymore, in fact we are able to customize a little bit more the emails and not send any if there is nothing to report on which is great.

• We can rely on Savant to reduce our capacity units from our power bi license by automating reports there
• we don't have to worry about sending emails with new data all the time
• We needed 2 people for our data pull request demand with Savant just 1 person can maintain the entire reporting system
