VAI ERP (or S2K Enterprise) is a cloud-based ERP solution for durable goods distributors and manufacturers, offering multiple order processing options, inventory and purchase management, warehouse management, and customer relationship management features.
Ordoro is ideal for a company with multiple websites and/or sales channels that does both in-house shipping and has orders drop-shipped. Ordoro keeps orders and inventory in one central location, so you can manage orders, inventory, vendors, shipping, etc., all from one location. Creating and printing shipping labels is fast and simple. Ordoro's PO features and drop-ship integration with vendors has saved us a ton of time and hassle.
VAI base package software has a lot of productive tools that can be used for a lot of different types of businesses. At first I was taken back by this saying it would just be more efficient if they would just build it more specific to a certain business type, but now stepping back i see why they don't. They are able to customize it more to my needs
Ordoro manages inventory across multiple platforms very well. If you sell an item on one channel, it reduces your told inventory and updates it across all of your other channels so you never risk going out of stock on an item.
Ordoro is awesome for bringing all of your orders into one central location which streamlines shipping processes. They also provide reduced shipping costs for most well-known shipping carriers.
Ordoro has incredible technical support and customer care team. Unlike other similar products, when you call Ordoro, you talk to a real live person who is never reading a script and always friendly and happy to help with any questions you may have.
Often times it seems people want to learn a platform in seconds and if they can't they say it is not "user friendly." There are some platforms that can do so much that it is just going to take time to learn it all. To me that is a good thing. S2K takes time to learn but it is worth it. It can transform your organization.
In the six years we've used Ordoro, their customer service has been responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable. They have a robust support center for DIY answers, and honestly, we don't need support often because their product is so reliable. But when we need to reach a human for additional support, they have always been excellent.
If this is someone's first ERP implementation, I strongly suggest you ask for services to help implement. Ask for training on every aspect of the implementation. Make sure this is put into the overall ERP quote
Other solutions may be more advanced or complete for certain tasks, however they are either more expensive or otherwise cover only partial operational requirements. For example, you may find a superior solution for inventory or fulfillment management, which will force you to work in two or more different systems, In addition the total cost will be usually more than you would pay for Ordoro. Some systems may be more complete than Ordoro, but at the same time too expensive for most small business. Ordoro has excellent customer service, superior to many similar, cost-effective, solutions.
S2K offered a system that could be used by various departments. There were modules for accounting, customer service, order entry, and web development. The ability to customize the website integration was a plus. S2K allows the option to have products in different warehouse locations. This allowed us to better manage inventory and see in real time what the stock status was
Sales - since all screens are real-time, S2K helps keep our salespeople up to date with customer sales and their overall sales for each period/year.
CSR - tracking of customer orders from point of entry to invoicing, being able to give the customer current information on their order by viewing a single screen.
Purchasing - with multiple locations, tracking, and having inventory in the correct location to meet the customer demands that are shipped from their home location.
Warehouse bin/item management makes picking orders a fast, accurate process, with the addition of order verification.
Accounting - being able to see real-time information across all applications. A/R, A/P, and G/L.
