Profound vs. Swift Digital

Profound is a great AEO platform, with so much information and insights available around what competitors are doing and what prospects are searching for, and how we are cited. The down side is also just too much information and without enough resources or a full time person using the platform, it's difficult to know what to prioritize

it's well suited to a business that relies on constant email marketing and to keep in contact with leads or customers. This is the heartbeat of business and suits us. We can segment qualified leads, data scores, track campaigns and effectively save time to work on other customer campaigns. If you are a smaller business that only sends one email a month, it's not for you. This software is very sophisticated and can be technical in the beginning.

• More email flexibility would be good.
• Simplify the modules-there is a lot, and it can be overwhelming.

Profound tracks A LOT of data, which is great, but it can also be overwhelming to look at/digest all the raw data without their internal measurements.

Semrush is much more mature for SEO but lacks the focus needed to be effective for AEO. Because Profound is build for AEO from the ground up, all of the associated features are optimized to be useful for AEO (for example focusing purely on topic visibility). SEMRush's AI Search tools feel a bit muddled in the system they have set up for SEO

We looked into Swift based upon a recommendation. We have previously used ActiveCampaign but found it very clunky for what we wanted to use it for. We also looked into Pardot, but was on the other end of the spectrum, it had far too many features, complexities and required an implementation specialist at our expense of $15K. Swift was just the right fit for us, and we like knowing that our data is kept in Australia
