RedTeam Flex vs. Unanet ERP for AE

RedTeam does a good job of allowing the company to view information in a way that is helpful to them. The superintendents out in the field don't necessarily need to see all of the same information that the people in the office do, so field share has been great for helping them manage their projects and submit daily reports of job progress. I can see this program working for both small and large companies and with a few tweaks, I might rate it even higher.

All of our accounting needs, from Accounts Receivable tools and Accounts Payable have been able to be met and exceeded by the automation tools that Unanet ERP for AE has implemented. Less appropriate is use for Business Development and marketing, of which we have an additional external system to use as a resource.

• Building a proper estimate/proposal
• Managing the project from start to finish, including any changes
• The accounting process works well with our quickbooks, making the process for accounting easy

• Billing

• Inability to delete certain information such as old duplicate vendors, contacts, etc.
• I run into a lot of road blocks with obscure permissions
• Some reports have issues when printing

I rate Unanet high because overall, it is good at what it does. It is user-friendly, allows my organization to bill properly, and is easily adapted by our staff. The drawbacks of Unanet are that its interface is outdated and it is lacking some reporting options. It also has some small issues regarding timesheets.

Procore is [a] product that we [are] familiar with as well because a few other companies that we have partnered with use Procore. The program is a good CPM, but RedTeam stands out to our company for the customer service. Over the years we have been able to communicate opportunities to make something more efficient and they have implemented some of those suggestions. That is invaluable to us.

• It has eliminated the need for hundreds of spreadsheets for each job and has saved time overall
• It allows all facets of the company to see information as they need to see it
• It's a central place for everyone to store and access information rather than having files all over individual computers.

• We have seen the most revenue growth in the history of our company every year for the past five years since implementing Unanet ERP for AE.
