StarChapter vs. YourMembership by Momentive

Once you understand how to use the system, it is pretty useful. But it has some definite areas where it could be brought up to speed with other modern tools. It is basic and could be better.

If you are a membership-based association or nonprofit organization, then YourMembership is a perfect solution for you. With an extensive searchable knowledge base filled with common FAQ's, the answer to your problem is easily solved. If you are unable to get it resolved through there, their daily Q&A with experts will be sure to help.

• The blast communications are clear and easy to read.
• Reporting- the reports within StarChapter are very helpful and easy to use.
• The tools for tracking attendee information are super easy to use.

• Event Registration - you can control ticket numbers, prices for members and non-members. You can also sort event tickets by category (i.e., sponsor or attendee).
• Support Team - when you submit a ticket for support you can expect a response within an hour. They also have a live chat everyday at 3 PM.
• Training - there are hundreds of videos and tutorials on how to do everything instead of waiting for an implementation advisor to instruct you.

• Website's back-end could be more updated with templates that are editable like wordpress
• Back-end email generator could function like a Constant Contact or MailChimp with features to make emails nicer and more modern looking
• More customizable fields that could be added to any form

• Native email marketing system lacks analytics that I'm looking for.

They create these long chains of responses. So for everything you write in they repeat what you wrote and then respond to it. It gets very confusing trying to figure out where the conversation is sometimes especially on a long trail of back and forth.
