Virgin Pulse
It's well suited for businesses who are looking for a way to approach employee wellness in a fun and fresh manner. It also helps create a little more connection between teams within the business and across other departments.

Keas would be a nice addition to a wellness program to promote health with a company's employees. The bigger the company the better. You need a bigger audience to make it more fun and engaging. However adoption is hard to accomplish within a big organization. Also you might be spending too much time on this.

Cons
Virgin Pulse
  • Sometimes, my Fitbit and even my Max device would have issues synching.
  • There weren't daily challenges, like the Fitbit. That made me have to use both apps, which was more work.

  • The various tasks can get repetitive.
  • There should be caps in place for the amount of activity you can do to earn points.
  • More variety of activities on the site would be a good addition.

Alternatives Considered
Virgin Pulse
DESTROYS the competition. I am so happy that Virgin Pulse took over the capabilities that Gilsbar was in charge of due to Gilsbar 's lack of user-friendly, up to date, technology.

Keas has an interesting and unique product, I don't think there's too much competition in the space that directly competes with Keas. It's something you either implement or you don't. Overall the hardest part is driving adoption within your company and keep them using it. Like all programs, there might be good momentum early on but users will fall out.

Return on Investment
Virgin Pulse
  • No ROI other than if the people chose not to use it, then the company saves money.
  • [I believe] it causes people's personal information to be disseminated without any concern.
  • [In my opinion,] they are not willing to help ever.
