WordPerfect Office vs. Zoho WorkDrive

WordPerfect itself is (IMHO) the best word processor available. Much easier to use (and I think, more intuitive) than Word. It can do things that Word struggles to do. That said, most of the world uses Word and improvements to the interchange functionality would allow it to be used in more situations. I realize that isn't easy - internally, the two products work differently and use very different data models

Zoho WorkDrive is probably the best for small organizations because of its affordability and the easy of setting up. Zoho is very well suited for facilitating the sharing of documents securely to allow for efficient collaboration. It is also supported by enterprise grade security, making it well suited for storing and sharing documents securely.

• Built-in publishing to PDF, that supports hyperlinks and watermarks.
• Real-time previews of formatting options.
• The Variables feature allows a variable or placeholder to be placed in multiple locations in a document.

• It is every easy to share documents/ files using Zoho WorkDrive
• Zoho WorkDrive is far much cheaper than similar solutions, like OneDrive/ Google Workspace but still gives much more storage than those
• The support from the Zoho WorkDrive team is very solid, and always able to respond within minutes

• conversion from Word is problematice to put it kindly
• it doesn't offer formatting options over the words, only in the toolbar
• track changes is compared to Word is weak

• Zoho WorkDrive has limitations in sync and performance.
• There is Sync limitations which lacks the selective or block and make it inefficient for large files
• There is navigation issues like trash and shared items and tasks are hidden in menus.
• Large files uploading and downloading is very slow. The speed lacks
• In the storage part if we edit the file, the file takes the full file version and store it.
• Missing feature is there is no proper encryption for the files and folders.

Very user friendly and I've had difficulties with many other CRMs/ WorkDrives. This one is definitely top notch. In fact, I used Zoho WorkDrive back in 2015 for my first company, then I worked for a company which also used Zoho WorkDrive and now I have another company and we're using it again.

Corel still offers support. Microsoft doesn't unless you have a paid contract. LibreOffice is all web-based. If you need support, Corel WordPerfect Office is the best option.

WordPerfect Office is not a product like Blackbaud's products, but it does work very well with them. Merging documents from Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge is accomplished very easily through WordPerfect Office and allows better options in many cases than when merging with Microsoft Word. My main uses for WordPerfect Office have been in merging letters, envelopes, and labels and when searching with reveal codes for improper codes in a document.

We are using IDrive e2 since last 2 year for NAS storage backup and Idrive e2 pricing are very budget friendly.

• My office wouldn't be able to make money at all if we didn't use WordPerfect; we use it to generate all of the documents that we use in our business. Granted, if we used Microsoft or another Office suite, we could eventually obtain the results we currently get, but we seem to have positioned our workflow around WordPerfect and to use something else would potentially hinder our productivity.

• Zoho WorkDrive makes knowledge transfer process easy, when someone leaves or join company.
• Zoho WorkDrive helps engineers and developer sharing API docs, code snippet, RCA etc.
• Zoho WorkDrive is part of zoho workplace, so we don't have to invest on standalone apps and services.
