We use Adobe XD to mock up and design static ads for Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin. We also use XD to design web graphics, utilizing the mock up tools to envision how our graphics will look on our website.
Pros
Clean user interface
Easy to use tools
Same keyboard commands as other Adobe products
Cons
Creating/previewing GIFs
Ability to use mouse scroll wheel to scroll across the screen
Likelihood to Recommend
XD is a simplified option for designers looking to make static web graphics. I think it's quicker to create basic designs than Illustrator. However, it's not good for motion graphics.
Back when I used it, it was great at incorporating the rest of the Creative Cloud software. Copy pasting from Illustrator was always easy, as well as linking files from Illustrator as the designers could update the file in real time and we see it change. Copy writing team also had an easy time implementing copy while work was being done, so we never had to worry about manually importing in copy. The main use was for website design, specially client sites. We were to map out the entire site and work on the main pages the client's site would require in order to be deployed.
Pros
Implementation with Creative Cloud
Illustrator to XD workflow
Already part of Creative Cloud
Cons
Darkmode
Serious lack of Darkmode
Likelihood to Recommend
If its already part of your organization, and they have a license for Creative Cloud, its worth learning. It doesnt take long to get started, but compared to other software in the same field, its lacking in many ways, from quality of life features to just simply not having the option for Darkmode. Even for website design, UX/UI, and mocking up proof-of-concepts, there are much better tools like Figma.
I used Adobe XD for my user interface work for clients or personal use. I like to use it to create prototypes and mockups to engage the user or customer. It helps with problem solving on projects and I love building wireframes so it can be used for an agile project management system flow chart.
Pros
UI Interface.
Clean Design Layouts.
Component States.
Cons
Aspects from Figma
Ruler Adjustments
Account Logins

Adobe XD is the perfect platform to use for UI Designers and Developers. Wether you're designing a website, mobile app, wireframe, or more. It's enhanced protoypes and features make it a very reliable app. I wish it would be a little more like Figma, but otherwise it's a great platform to use.
I used Adobe XD for designing wireframes, prototypes, and mockups. I made a purchase of roughly 280 dollars earlier this year after using the free trial version. Adobe XD keeps trying to get me to buy it on the same account I used to purchase it back in February of 2022. Not only are the popups extremely annoying and unnecessary, but sometimes Adobe XD refuses to work as it's meant to; The type tool will either not select a type layer so I can edit it but instead create a new type layer which I really don't want or need for the designs OR it will not allow me to rename artboards or layers. Sometimes I can't even select the correct hex code when I need to change from the default color. To "remedy" this issue, I constantly have to exit and reopen Adobe. One time I had to uninstall and reinstall it on my laptop. It's a serious hindrance to the time I spend designing for my career. It's hardly efficient. I'll be using Figma after I'm done typing this review. I'm incredibly disappointed and I feel like I wasted my money. I would not even spend 100 dollars on this software. If Adobe XD improves, then I MIGHT reconsider using it again.
Pros
Not focus on improving itself
Making sure some of its design features don't function
being frequently inconvenient at random moments
wasting my work time
telling the customer they used the wrong account when they didn't
asking for money I already gave
Cons
The Type tool needs to be fixed
Stop asking to be bought when a purchase was already made.

I spent roughly 280 dollars on this product back in February of 2022. I use the same account to buy it for the year and for work. Adobe XD tells me to buy it every time I open it to work on an existing project or to start a new one. So far I haven't been able to solve this issue on my own. And thankfully, even though Adobe XD hasn't tried to forcefully take the money off my account without my authorization, having this popup always asking if I bought it or telling me that I should, is ridiculous. It's bad programming. Speaking of bad programming, the Type/Text tool constantly gives up on me at random moments. I've had to shut down and -one time- re-install Adobe XD to get it to function again, and even then I still have the same issues. It's become more of an obstacle in my work than a help. It eats up my time just trying to fix it when I could be making progress with design projects. Adobe XD isn't worth my time or money. I'll be using Figma from now on after this point.
At my company, I use Adobe XD to create all user experience and design assets for marketing, web, and other things for our product-related projects. I use Adobe XD everyday to store all my design files, and share them with the other designers through the cloud function within Adobe XD.
Pros
Cloud sharing.
Layering
Usability
Cons
Exporting or converting to other design files (sketch, figma)
Likelihood to Recommend
Adobe XD is suited for any design-driven team to create, review and share design work.
I am using Adobe XD for straight the ideas, Wireframes, Website Mockup Designs, Custom Icons, and Mobile App Designs. I also create Social Media Banners, Brand Style Guidelines, and some other small design concepts. With Adobe XD, now we can create designs and share the link with clients. We can also get feedback from clients.
Pros
Edit photo from Adobe XD to Adobe Photoshop is an Awesome Feature.
The UI and tools are very easy to learn and use.
Managing multiple art boards is very easy to handle.
Cons
It would be a great feature if we can update multiple flows at the same time.
while working with multiple flows, sometime share tab fluctuate with the links.
It could have a very good feature when you edit a photo from Adobe XD to Adobe Photoshop and after save the photo it can still contains layer from Adobe Photoshop.

It's been 4 years since I started using Adobe XD. I have faced some good and some improvements which need to be incorporated.
The Good Things:
1) Adobe XD is fast, lighter, and loaded with very useful tools.
2) Edit Image from Adobe XD to Photoshop directly is a very good feature in my sight.
3) Creating flow is very easy than the other tools.
Improvements:
1) In my case, sometimes XD get closed automatically. Not sure if it's the only bug for someone else facing it too.
2) Updating multiple flows at the same time can be a very good feature.
I use Adobe XD in my organization for visual designs. I create Website mockups, mobile screens, and, sometimes, I also like to create minimal marketing advertisements in this software. There are multiple handy features in this software, which help in creating design smoothly. This also increases productivity.
Pros
Website mockups
Mobile application designing
Prototypes
Auto animate
Cons
Team collaboration
Sharing feature (right now, there's only 1)
Likelihood to Recommend
Well Suited: - Easy to design - Wireframes - Easy to create components - Prototyping - Auto animate feature is good
Less Appropriate: - Team collaboration is a very important feature and you are providing this feature, but, in my opinion, it is not up to the mark. They rethink this feature to make it more appropriate for the users. - Sharing feature: I'm not sure why you are limiting this to only 1 sharing option; this is not good in my opinion. I know this is paid feature, but I see the other competitors giving all these features absolutely free. I think that for at least the design reviews, you should allow sharing. In my experience using it, I want to say I feel that the worst thing is weekly updates. If you are working with a team, you have to wait for the other person to update their Adobe XD software to collaborate. I think this shouldn't be necessary, as, after some days, it's automatically updated.
We used Adobe XD during early ideation building our application. Adobe XD is perfect for user interface design, such as website applications, website company profiles, and also mobile applications. We solved many business processes using Adobe XD and the plus support plugins. I would say Adobe XD is a complete all-in-one app, where you can do design UI, co-editing or collaborations, build a design system, or you can also prototype never before seen from competitor apps, such as Sketch or Figma.
Pros
Co-editing
Prototyping tools
Design System
Hand-off
Full support with Adobe Suite, such Photoshop & Illustrator
Cons
More advanced reusable assets (components)
Ability to build in-app design tokens
Ability to build design flow by default (currently requires some plugins)
Likelihood to Recommend
If you use Adobe XD with a multi-app platform, want to connect components to multiple design systems, and also want to be able to use design tokens inside Adobe XD, I would not recommend using Adobe XD. However, if you only use one app in your startup company, Adobe XD is good because you can use it as an all-in-one for design, prototyping, hand-off, and collaboration for a small fee per month.
Adobe XD is a powerful tool for designing. As a passionate designer, I use it to create website UIs. The look and feel that I achieve help us to pitch to our clients the importance of the interior design of the websites.
Pros
[It helps with] prototyping and wireframing on various design layouts.
[It helps to] create powerful interactions for [an] enhanced user experience.
The drag and drop feature makes the task quite easy.
Cons
Real-time collaboration with multiple users
Integration with other third-party software
Face glitches while viewing on mobile with responsive web design
Likelihood to Recommend
It is best suited where rapid prototyping is required and you need a mockup within 1-2 days. It is not suitable for scenarios where [a] lot of colors and jazziness [are] required in [a] quick time.
We use Adobe XD in our Product Engineering area, designing interactive prototypes to optimize our development processes for our clients. It came as a tool to better plan the user experience of our implementations, but also as a novelty for the presentations and demos in the sprint finals, where we could show more accurately how the different screens were going to be developed in the future.
Pros
It has a very interactive interface
It integrates very well with the rest of the Adobe Creative software
The "Auto Transition" function is very useful for animating.
Has updates quite often
Cons
It does not allow to complete inputs or text fields in the prototypes.
It is not particularly cheap.
They lacks more contact with the community, listening to their suggestions.
A better marketplace with better plugins is missing.
Likelihood to Recommend
Adobe XD is particularly useful and extremely easy to learn if you are a designer or a frequent user of the Adobe Creative Suite. Like all Adobe software, the tools, shortcuts, and interface are very similar to each other and allow for easy migration. Now, if you are not a frequent user of Adobe, it will probably cost a bit more to learn how to use the software, plus it is probably not going to be worth the price just for Adobe XD.
