Overall Satisfaction with Adobe XD

We use Adobe XD to mock up and design static ads for Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin. We also use XD to design web graphics, utilizing the mock up tools to envision how our graphics will look on our website.

Pros

  • Clean user interface
  • Easy to use tools
  • Same keyboard commands as other Adobe products

Cons

  • Creating/previewing GIFs
  • Ability to use mouse scroll wheel to scroll across the screen
  • Reduced time to deliver graphics assets
  • Easy access through Creative Cloud
The UI is simple, and very easy to learn for those already accustomed to Adove products.

XD is a simplified option for designers looking to make static web graphics. I think it's quicker to create basic designs than Illustrator. However, it's not good for motion graphics.
