Offer Affirm financing to grow your average order values

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Affirm offers flexible financing options to our customers for higher ticket items costing $100 or more. Our product offering is typically subscription based which Affirm does not offer financing for but we have been able to expand our offerings to high value retail items which Affirm is a great fit for.

We use Affirm with a Woocommerce/Wordpress website and there is a plugin that integrates Affirm for us. We also use a payment method plugin that limits Affirms availability only to products that they support. Generally, we have had a good experience with integration and payments from Affirm to us are consistent and timely. People finance guitars, pedals, and amplifiers and it offers us a way to reach a customer base that may not otherwise purchase from us.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Affirm allows my business to do a buy now pay later program. We run an e-commerce website and integrate affirm in our payment process. Our business has a lot of high ticket items, and this allows customers the flexibility to pay over time. Lastly, customers that use Affirm usually buy more, which is fantastic.

Pros

Easy installation.
Great customer service.
Painless pay as you go software.

Cons

Fees could be lower.
Today there are a lot of other alternatives.
Needed some coding help.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think anyone in the eCommerce space should at least take a look at Affirm. Customers are looking for other ways to pay for products and Affirm is a good option from the lost list of pay-as-you-go options out there. It would be less appropriate if you have low-ticket items in your store.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Affirm as an additional option at checkout to help increase sales and average order size. Our average cart size is $500+, but we often get orders in the $5-10,000 range, so it is nice to give customers an option to make payments over time instead of all at once. The integration was effortless and easy to set up, so we have no issues and are very happy with everything.

Helps improve conversions and increases average order size.
Make us look bigger than we are b/c we can provide a financing option.

Cons

We haven't had any issues as of yet, we are very happy with everything.

Affirm is excellent if you want to add in a simple feature to give more options to your customers at checkout. We use it, and people like it, especially for large orders. We love it because we were able to work with Affirm to create low-interest options at checkout, which is what people want. They are easy to deal with, and orders come through like normal. The integration is perfect and works well with Shopify Plus, so that makes our life was easier. So if that is your setup, Affirm is the way to go.

Affirm is being used on our company website. We started to use Affirm to help gain new customers and for brand awareness.

Pros

Customer support is always quick to respond.
The dashboard is very easy to navigate and has useful information.

Cons

Affirm has a lot of information they collect from the customer, it would be great to see more in the dashboard.
Accounting has mentioned they would like to be able to adjust the daily export to show different, and more, information.

Likelihood to Recommend

Affirm is an easy, simple solution that we have seen a large increase in sales from.
