Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Affirm as an additional option at checkout to help increase sales and average order size. Our average cart size is $500+, but we often get orders in the $5-10,000 range, so it is nice to give customers an option to make payments over time instead of all at once. The integration was effortless and easy to set up, so we have no issues and are very happy with everything.

Return on Investment

Well, since it cost us nothing to implement, and we did the customization to the look and felt in-house, we saw an immediate positive ROI. Orders starting happening within the first week of implementation and haven't stopped since. We don't get tons of orders from Affirm, but it is steady, and they are typically for several thousand dollars.

Alternatives Considered

We didn't see anything else out there that was as simple to use as Affirm. I don't know if there are other options out there, I bet there are, but we have had no need to look elsewhere because we are pleased with what we have. The whole process of implementation to getting orders was very seamless and straightforward to go through, so we never had any concerns.

Likelihood to Recommend

Affirm is excellent if you want to add in a simple feature to give more options to your customers at checkout. We use it, and people like it, especially for large orders. We love it because we were able to work with Affirm to create low-interest options at checkout, which is what people want. They are easy to deal with, and orders come through like normal. The integration is perfect and works well with Shopify Plus, so that makes our life was easier. So if that is your setup, Affirm is the way to go.

Usability

Easy to use, simple to integrate, especially if you are using Shopify Plus. Putting everything live and active was easy. We did have to do some simple HTML/CSS to make everything look the way that we wanted it to, but that was very easy and something that we did in house. If you can do some simple style work, you won't have any issues at all.
