Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Agility tries to provide a solution that is based on structuring and converting content and delivering digital content. In theory, according to Agility, it would save design time and improve the user experience. My role was to evaluate CMS for a large consulting firm that specializes in providing different types of services to sectors such as Banking, Telco, Retail, and industry. The objective of the evaluation is to find the omnichannel experience with the minimal use of re-coding.

Pros

 • Flexibility platform.
 • Interface editing very easy.
 • Solid platform.

Cons

 • Limited functionality for rebuild layout pages.
 • Need better wysiwyg editor.
 • Large time to load and save.
 • Bugs in the app need to be corrected.

Likelihood to Recommend

WELL SUITED: 1.- Rebuild pages without using codes. 50 %2.- Need small support from IT team3.- Easy to customize in complex organizations4.- Training is relatively easy and can be imparted in a short time for the team that does not have much knowledge about CMS5.- the integration with other tools is friendly. LESS APPROPRIATE: 1.- Not easy to connect with many APPs developed internally 2.- Not for social media integration. Need another APP to make it 3.- Price is not cheap, in my opinion, 4.- Very limited search functions.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our data and analytics community is ever-growing. We were looking forward to creating a portal through which this global community reaches out to larger business and showcase how analytics and insights help them with their day-to-day. This was supposed to be an internal portal but reaches across the width and depth of the organization. Agility CMS was one of the strong contenders for CMS suites that provided relevant editorial, development, and security features at competitive pricing.

Pros

 • Page management
 • Ease of publishing (batch publishing, device support)
 • Strong CDN (Fastly based)
 • Customer support

Cons

 • Compatibility with servers can be improved
 • Support on Android devices
 • Coverage for Asian language support

Likelihood to Recommend

Agility CMS is great value for money for a complete CMS solution. Overall user experience of this system is amazing for both, users as well as developers.Solid CDN, asset management, editorial features that come in very handy like content scheduling, image editing, batch publishing, are some of the plus points. Mobile support for developers has a scope for improvement though.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Agility CMS's modelling feature is very intuitive and easy in user point of view. There is no limit to the number of content models. Built in premium functions which will make the end-user easy to working with. The UI is very easy to navigate and the features are easily accessible. The support from the support team whenever we are stuck is very impressive and they have all the knowledge that is required to tackle issues we face.

Pros

 • Unlimited Content Modules which are extremely helpful for file management .
 • Unlimited number of API and Asset Requests
 • File management among the CMS is extraordinarily useful as a hosting tool native to our web content

Cons

 • Pricing - I think pricing should be reviewed according to features that are required.
 • Allowing Collaborating Tools integration would help a lot.
 • No other suggestions so far, will update if any.

The use of headless API has removed our dependency on .net developers, which is cost and time saving for us. This has helped in better returns and less downtime. New users can learn to use the tool easily with little proper guidance, since the tool is easy to use and interface is more interactive.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Working with a lot financial institutions, we are in constant need to present the latest and greatest to our existing customers, prospective customers and considering we work for B2B, we also need to cater content for our B2C customers.

Agility CMS makes it very easy for us when we bring in interns to help develop and distribute contents - Agility CMS providers do not dictate about how content is presented. We have out own templates defined and the team can get started right from there.

Pros

 • Ability to plan personalized contents
 • Ability to use webhooks and custom logic to create our own content
 • Ability to setup regionsa and locales for our contents

Cons

 • Search function is limited

Freshers need not worry about databases at all. Agility's ability to abstract away from DB makes it so much more easier for the content developers to focus on their core work. Lack of DB removes all the hassles of backup, maintenance, connection strings, etc.

Mid-Sized Marketer's CMS

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our Agility CMS instance is managed by our marketing department to simplify management of our web presence, including multi-language websites. Agility CMS provides easy content cloning between languages to maintain the website hierarchy across languages and help our team track which of our web pages have been localized and which are still pending.

Pros

 • File management within the CMS is extremely helpful as a hosting/uploading tool local to our web pages and content.
 • Ability to clone web page content across mutli-language websites takes only a few clicks, and translation can be performed easily based on default English content.
 • Ability to post shared content and link content to categories for easy organization of content on the web - post once, and serve the content up on the live site in multiple places.

Cons

 • Simplification of uploading files would be ideal - where all files are located in the Media & Documents section rather than uploaded directly to Shared Content modules. One home for all files helps us keep track of what is uploaded and what is not.
 • Better copy/paste handling of content from external programs (cleaning Word document formatting, etc.), similar to handling by Word Press and other simplified CMS would be helpful.
 • Greater control over global content such as headers/footers, multi-language implementation, etc., would allow our developers more flexibility and reduce our time coordinating with Agility support and using BOH.

Likelihood to Recommend

Agility is well suited for companies that want a balance of control and support. For major global site updates, these can be handled by Agility's support team, while minimal changes and updates can be performed autonomously by the company's own staff with ease. For companies that are interested in flexibility to reconstruct site structure or major global facelifts, Agility is less ideal because these changes must be handled and paid for through Agility support.

Agility CMS for Media Relations

Rating: 6 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our Senior Manager of Digital Development and Online Marketing Coordinator at the Toronto Symphony Orchestra work together to manage our website content using Agility CMS. I am more of a casual user, uploading content such as media releases and photos to a certain area of the website 1-3 times per month.

Pros

 • The ability to use both WYSIWYG and HTML to format content on the website
 • The ability to take a webpage down from public viewing, without deleting content

Cons

 • The filing system and search function are often difficult to navigate. Finding a file that I've uploaded isn't always easy to locate in Agility CMS
 • The WYSIWYG content manager isn't always intuitive. I often have to go directly into HTML editing to resolve line spacing problems

Likelihood to Recommend

I think Agility CMS would be a good fit for a medium-sized organization with uncomplicated web features.
