As an IT analyst, we promoted the Avaya OneCloud UCaaS software, known as Avaya Spaces, for use in home office routines and virtual meetings during the Covid-19 pandemic for over a year. Avaya Spaces was extremely important to keep the team and departments active and in communication every day of the week with alignment meetings, activities, and work demands. It is compatible with computers, smartphones, and tablets and only depends on a common internet link.
  • Extreme audio and video quality during online meetings.
  • It allows grouping many people at the same time in a meeting room, being able to create several simultaneous ones.
  • Amazing interface and easy to use.
  • It works very well on mobile devices.
  • It works via the web.
  • I am not aware of any real Avaya problems during the usage experience.

Avaya OneCloud UCaaS made remote life easier, communicative, and integrated and helped during the difficult phase of the covid pandemic to keep departments active. The daily experience was positive with online meetings and even webinars. I recommend it for all scenarios and can be used internally and externally because the tool provides savings in travel, time, and displacements. The quality is in high definition and allows many users to access remotely with guests.

Need to use an online collaboration platform for collaboration. The platform allowed me to join the conference using both audio and video. I was able to share content, files, documents with everyone in the collaboration. I was also able to use 1:1 audio and video sessions with a party. The feature to record the meetings and store them in the Library is quite useful.

Avaya Spaces has been one of the most important software for us in times of the COVID-19 pandemic where the vast majority of teams are working from home. The software is used by almost all teams to extend and maintain a continuity of communication through online meetings and chat. The software is in the cloud and solved the communication problems because it works without the dependency of an application, works on any operating system, and can be accessed from anywhere with the internet.
  • Unlimited recording to the Avaya Cloud with access from any device.
  • Privacy of meetings with inclusion of access password.
  • Support for more than 500 users at the same time in the meeting, allowing the realization of webinars and training as well.
  • Screen sharing features, view of PDF and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Per user license.
  • There are 3 licenses, but only the "Power" license does cloud recording.
  • There is still no feature to place participants in a secondary room during a meeting.
The Avaya solution only adds to the collaboration of companies with unlimited meetings and no time limit. Cloud recording features not depending on local storage space. The software has high build quality and allows high quality video calls from anywhere.
We do not use Avaya support for this specific service, but we already use it for phones and the company has always been well served. Phone calls are quickly resolved with the help of Avaya engineers.
Avaya Spaces is easy to use and provides a friendly and intuitive interface to create and manage meeting rooms called Spaces. We created one for each IT area within our department. It's easy to add a password for privacy and invite other colleagues with an email invitation or direct link. During the meeting, the icons are intuitive to activate and deactivate the camera and microphone as well.

It is the primary phone for the entire organization. Many employees work remotely and having Avaya on the computer makes it easy .

My school started using Avaya in March when we had to switch to remote learning. Avaya's capabilities allowed for easy implementation for the teachers, students, and parents to use right from the start! My students didn't miss a beat, the education never stopped! Avaya has great customer support. Everyone you speak to is friendly and responds back to questions right away.

Avaya Spaces brought countless benefits to our department during the COVID pandemic. It was the way we found to stay active and communicating by chat, voice and video at home office during the quarantine. We started with a 90 day trial license and then the company renewed it for another year due to the success. It has optimized everyone's routine with daily meetings.

Integrates with videoconferencing platform. It can be used from anywhere by accessing via the web, smartphone, tablet and computer. It is recommended that you have a good internet link to have excellent priority quality for voice and video traffic. Online meetings have streamlined the work-from-home routine with project alignment at a distance and productivity has not diminished.
Great support that welcomed us with doubts at the beginning of configuration. Satisfactory response time.

We learned about Avaya Spaces [Avaya OneCloud UCaaS] through the recommendation of colleagues from other companies. During the pandemic, we were in need of something to help us make virtual meetings and that's when we received an invitation for a 6 month Power trial license from Avaya Spaces. We use it every day doing meetings, alignments, presentations, and even mini technical and commercial training, all remotely and virtually. We love the features and high capacity to support up to 500 concurrent participants and unlimited cloud recording. With the end of the trial licenses, we've renewed with Avaya one more bundle of several licenses because we like it so much.
  • Creation of unlimited meeting rooms. Allows you to make appointments and send invitations by email.
  • Supports up to 500 simultaneous users in a single session, with no time limit, with cloud recording.
  • Unlimited cloud recording, easy access via the management interface.
  • Features like file sharing, has chat, allows you to give presentations and training.
  • About visuals I have nothing negative to comment on. And technically I believe the vendor can enhance some features of secondary rooms and also allow you to select camera quality.
I can say that it was one of the best software we've had in recent times, mainly because it saved us during the COVID-19 pandemic, in which, in quarantine, it was impossible to hold face-to-face meetings and leave the house. With Avaya Spaces [Avaya OneCloud UCaas] all this was facilitated and allowed for frequent meetings and also training of employees and special customers. I recommend Avaya Spaces!
Great support and always improving. We already use Avaya telephone exchanges and we rarely had problems. The Avaya support team has great technical engineers who are available during business hours to help with problems and queries.

Avaya Spaces is one of two video conferencing and chat software we are using at our branch. It's one of the most interactive and user-friendly interface I've found. We started using Avaya Spaces when the COVID pandemic started in February 2020 with 3-month trial licenses and after expiration, the company decided to renew for another 2 years. It has been used by IT, commercial, HR and technical support to hold online meetings. I also use it to deal with matters with clients and other business partners. The problem solved with Spaces was strict communication. With this solution we were able to obtain organizational control and collaboration among professionals. In online meetings it is possible to align business, projects, feedbacks, reports, analysis, using chat, video, audio and file and screen sharing.

The software [Avaya OneCloud UCaaS] contributes and fulfills its purpose very well. Meetings are unlimited, cloud-managed and recordings are retained in the Avaya cloud and can be downloaded locally as well. It has interaction features such as chat, sharing any type of files, links, documents and has a good graphical interface with intuitive panels.
Technical support for this solution was not used to have an opinion. But I want to praise the speed of constantly improving the software with new updates and adding new features for video conferencing.

It is used throughout the organization. It allows us to hold meetings quickly and efficiently and at the same time it allows us to generate pre-established meetings by area so that we can enter the room directly without having previously set up the space. On the other hand, we use it to make presentations/executive meetings within the organization. The possibility of inviting other participants without having to be associated, allowing flexibility, is an intuitive and clear platform.

It's really useful to keep in contact with our team. We have meetings and share different documents through that platform. It's really easy and accessible to use and helps us to keep in touch in these moments of home office work.

We decided to use Avaya OneCloud UCaaS for our virtual meetings across the organization and found two issues: users required multiple authorizations to enter and then in many cases delayed the start of the meeting.

It is more suitable for meetings of two people.

It is less suitable for meetings of three or more.

When there are more than three people and one is outside the team, the latter has problems entering.

It's a good piece of equipment, although they may have to deal with the limitations of the tool. Sometimes such limitations are not good for doing business

We have been using Avaya OneCloud UCaaS across the whole organization since March 2020 because we needed a tool to communicate remotely and reliably in consequence of the quarantine. Since we were a fully [in person] organization, we didn't use to have any experience, knowledge or need for these communication channels.
  • Convenience.

  • Audio could improve a lot.
I think Avaya OneCloud UCaaS is well suited for closed organizations that need room for many participants at the same time, necessarily works from the computer (not mobile phones) and have not used other work communication applications previously. In my opinion, it is hard to compete with other platforms that are more integrated with our day to day life like WhatsApp or Meets.
To be honest, I never tried the customer support service because if i had a problem, lets say, with the audio, video or log in, I would have migrated to another platform instead of trying to solve the problem in Avaya OneCloud UCaaS. It would have been easier and faster.

We knew about the Avaya Spaces solution just before the coronavirus pandemic started. We were looking for a high quality cloud video conferencing solution. We started using Spaces for the summer three-month trial. We liked it a lot and purchased a package with many licenses for more than a year. The solution allowed the majority of employees to work in the home office and to be able to communicate by video whenever necessary. The solution is being used by everyone in our office to hold online meetings, events and presentations.
  • There is no need to install any software.
  • Unlimited cloud video recording.
  • Friendly graphical interface.
  • High image resolution during meetings.
  • Screen sharing for presentations.
  • The tool does not yet have the possibility to create a waiting room for guests.
  • The price is expensive for the power license.
I recommend Avaya Spaces for all companies. Meetings today can be virtual rather than face-to-face. The reduction in expenses with travel and airline tickets is very large. It is necessary to update and use what technology has to offer us. Avaya is all in the cloud, has simple management and easy to add and invite new users.
The support is good. Avaya is one of the largest companies in this area of ​​unified communications. Support can be activated by phone and email. Our team has already triggered a few times and from what they told me everything was normal and fast. The price is a little expensive but I believe it is worth buying together for more security.

We started using it on the recommendation of colleagues. I am an entrepreneur and I like to try new tools that are offered, especially those that provide solutions to the current context. We are a small organization and we must invest strategically. Spaces presented itself as a great alternative to incorporate in a small work team like ours.
  • For spontaneous meetings it is easy and immediate access to a room access link.
  • Historical archive of notes and documents in rooms.
  • Saving of recurring rooms.
  • Facilitate mobile access to guests.
  • Improved video call clarity.
  • Mass actions as a room administrator. Example: muted.
Considering that it is used in a small organization, it is easy to get comfortable with the interface, learn the approach and explore the benefits. It was less convenient to hold mass meetings of more than 5 people for example, or to invite people from outside the organization because it was difficult for them to access.
I give the highest score because in the few cases that I needed consultation or guidance on variants of the platform, I got a pleasant and immediate response. I emphasize this over many other massive platforms where customer service is relegated to a bot or an email whose response is delayed or does not arrive.

We have been using the Avaya OneCloud UCaaS platform for almost two years, just before the start of the covid-19 pandemic. The use intensified a lot when the great majority of the employees started to work in home office. Our entire subsidiary used the software during that time in the company and also at home. I used it a lot every day for project alignment, meetings with clients, [and] meetings between internal departments. The use of Avaya has provided us with many benefits and advantages in terms of collaboration, communication and productivity of the activities to be carried out.

We made the acquisitions according to the need and the number of people who were going to use it. Everything is managed in the cloud by IT and with a lot of flexibility.
I have nothing negative to comment on Avaya support. I have known the manufacturer for many years and have always been a reference in the communication market. The telephone service is very good and works in our local language. The waiting time is also great and the problems are solved.

We have been using the Avaya OneCloud UCaaS solution for over a year. The purpose of this is for unified communications and video conferencing provided in the cloud by Avaya. We started to use a lot more at home after the COVID pandemic, each employee has his / her extension online and we start having virtual meetings every day between departments, teams, and external companies. The great advantage that we like is that everything works on an Avaya private cloud giving us a lot of security, reliability, and availability for use whenever we need it.

  • Improve the tool's online documentation in more languages.
Practicality and flexibility are very good with this tool. It is used by all departments of the company. TI manages the entire Avaya solution. Everything works in the cloud and I didn't need to install any applications on my notebook. Through the browser, I access the virtual meetings without complications. And when I'm in transit, I access the official app on my Android and participate in sessions with my 4G internet. The interface I like a lot and is very friendly and clean. The functionalities are within easy reach, such as screen sharing, mute functions, chat, and annotations.
Avaya technical support is very good. We use very little, but when we need it, the attendants were quick and attentive to seek the resolution of the doubts and problems of our IT team. Support is important at the time of hiring to have that support in future problems.

We are an organization of 12 people, and since the beginning of the pandemic we have used this tool to speed up our remote work. We hold periodic weekly meetings between individuals and between areas. We invite our allies to meet with us through the platform. We also take advantage of it to give talks and trainings.

Compared to other platforms, it is very easy to schedule a meeting or generate a room in a matter of seconds. There is no need to install any program to use it. For mobile use it is necessary to download the app, as in other platforms. For some people that option is not so comfortable.
We have had an immediate response to each query, request or claim to the platform. From the initial induction meeting to it, to the occasional queries that were attended by chat, email or video call to facilitate our work. There is a team with a lot of capacity, knowledge (and patience) to attend to all our concerns.
There are few times that we have not been able to take advantage of the tool, but those moments are related to the bandwidth of each person in [their] home. Those who have low signal cannot access meetings on the platform smoothly.

It is used across the organization and with new Aura the Mobile client within Premises is of great help to be connected and be reachable.

The support team is very friendly and resolved the issue with in the time required. The troubleshooting steps taken is been shared and findings are always been shared after the issue is resolved.

We use Avaya OneCloud UCaaS throughout the whole university. First, we connect different student classrooms with the professor. As we are spread across several islands, some students could not come to the main campus, and they join a secondary campus to take the course through Avaya Equinox. Second, we rent some webcams out as a service due to the COVID emergency. Finally, we bought some Avaya OneCloud UCaaS licenses to use with the online instruction.
  • You can leave messages and documents in the virtual space

  • The video and the sound on the webcams are excellent
  • We will need better control of the student experience
  • Better adaptability to network errors for Avaya Equinox
We are very happy with the quality of the webcam and the possibility of renting them for just a year due to the COVID emergency. Avaya OneCloud UCaaS is very quickly improving its functions for a better user experience. The Equinox server seems, with all the improvement of the last few month, like an old technology now.
We have a really good contact with an Avaya engineer who helps us every time we need him to.

Avaya Communicator was used all across our organization, which has units in Brazil, USA, China, Europe and the Middle East. It was used especially when a professional was out of office and the software enable the user to access its corporate phone number. As we have a global team with lots of travelling professional, it was helping a lot.

  • The dialing feature was constantly crashing and did not work for a while.
  • Sometimes when answering a call, the feature crashes with no apparent reason.
Very well suited to be used by global teams and with areas with constant travels. It really helps to have access to your work phone and work contacts at any time and place. However, the software could be more stable, since we have a lot of problems with the software crashing and not responding during the calls.
It needs some improvements on the stability of the software. It is a good communicator but some of the aforementioned problems need to be improved.

Avaya Aura is the first VOIP system we have used in our company. We bought it because it was cheap compared to other solutions, and overall it has worked well for us. We don't really use any advanced features, simply plug and play phones and emails sent to voicemail but it's been good for that.

  • Phones are plug and play after initial set-up is done.
  • Set-up is quite complex, requires support assistance on most things we need to fix/change.
  • Phones are very plain looking compared to more modern/expensive devices.
For a simple VOIP phone solution, it does do what it needs to do - provides clear phone calls on a functional phone system. If you need a VOIP solution in your small business it should work just fine, but if you want to spend a little more money and can I'd highly suggest it as there are much nicer solutions out there now.
It seems like anytime we have some issue it takes support a long time to figure out. It really just seems very lacking overall. Most of the time the phone technicians seem to have no clue what we are talking about and they have to go research and get back to us.

Avaya ACE was used in the call center department of my organization. The business problem we were addressing by using Avaya ACE is to arrive at a unified communication solution for Avaya and Cisco platforms. This also helped to save cost by not changing the network communications layer and we were looking for a seamless middleware solution.

  • Real time notification to the customer service agents makes it so perfect for any CRM like Salesforce.
  • Very easy to integrate multi vendor system architecture and still keep the same communication layer and utilizing APIs.
  • Support for multiple language for business layer and communication layer integration.
It is well suited for a Salesforce hosted CRM solution and real time and fast customer support is a must have requirement. It is not very appropriate for a simple case management where communication channels are passive.

Our organization uses AvayaLive extensively throughout the whole organization. We use AvayaLive Connect as a main communication and collaboration tool. The product helps connect employees from various office locations that are spread across the country. The main benefit of using the product is cutting travel cost. It also helps us save time for collaboration which increases overall efficiency and productivity for the organization.
  • The product is quite intuitive and easy to use.
  • Cross-platform compatibility is a must-have feature.
  • Unified communication solution.
  • The price is within the high-end spectrum.
  • GUI could use a bit of a 'cosmetic' touch-up.
  • Would be nice to have options for desktop phones.
As an over-the-top service, AvayaLive Connect would seamlessly integrate employees from multiple offices which already connected with intranet connection (preferably using dedicated leased-line connection). However, migrating from an extensive dedicated legacy PABX system to the product proven to be quite a challenge. Hence, it is more suitable for start-ups companies with few employees working remotely from home.

Avaya is a long-standing name in the communications industry and hands-down lives up to its name. It is possibly one of the best enterprise communication systems I've ever used; it's simple, efficient, and powerful. We use it across the organization and it's packed with more tools and features than its competitors out there.
  • Super simple to set up and get it running.
  • Powerful and packed with a ton of and tools I have yet to see in the competitors.
  • Automated attendants, caller ID, automatic callback and many more features which are extremely useful.
  • Honestly we haven't seen anything wrong with our Avaya communicator product.
  • Maybe lower cost per user would be better going forward but that's not a con for the service it provides.
Small, Medium or Large enterprise - You need Avaya to know its true power and efficient communication. The extreme ease of use just drives the large up-front cost down in terms of effort required. Might not be ideal for really small enterprises because of the large up-front costs.
