Poor Coordination with Internal Benefits Department and WEX

Rating: 2 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Benefits customer service in coordination with an internal benefits department and WEX integration.

Pros

  • Portal of available benefits
  • Comprehensiveness
  • Number of contact modes

Cons

  • Turnaround
  • Coordination with benefits department
  • Coordination with Wex
  • Chat interface
  • Ability to solve problems

Likelihood to Recommend

In my experience, seems to have predefined wait times for responses: ten minutes to begin a chat preluded with ten messages of "Please hold for the next available Customer Service Representative.". Upon receiving a response, customer service would attempt further delays by directing users elsewhere without making any attempt to solve the problem on bswift's end. In my opinion, this fails on coordination with the internal benefits department and WEX. I think the lack of coordination renders bswift incapable of adequate support.

BSwift - Great for Enrollments!

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use BSwift for our benefit enrollments and ACA reporting. Being a company with multiple locations across the country, having a system that allows employees to enroll, manage their benefits, and see costs, allows faster and easier processing of benefits, life events, and payroll deductions.

Pros

  • Benefit Enrollment
  • Life Event management
  • ACA reporting

Cons

  • Reporting
  • Easy notification of new enrollments
  • Autogenerated emails

Likelihood to Recommend

Very easy employee management for adding and terming in the system. Generates automatic emails to employees for easy access to the portal for enrollment. Easy for employees to manage and request their own life events. Great feature to allow admins to "impersonate user" for employees who do not have access to computers so that benefit enrollments can still move forward.

bswift helps administrators keep benefits straight for employees

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

bswift is used as our benefits portal. Our department uses it to show employees their benefits options and help enroll them. The employees have their own log ins so they can manage the benefits themselves as well. bswift allows users to see what each benefit covers as well as what it will cost. It shows users their weekly cost and when their benefits will be active, as well as support numbers to contact the benefit providers.

Pros

  • Detailing the benefit options available
  • Giving users their cost per pay period
  • Telling users when they are eligible to receive benefits

Cons

  • Bigger text fields
  • Address auto complete using google maps
  • Less intrusive virtual assistant

Likelihood to Recommend

bswift is well suited for benefit enrollment for both new hires and users looking to change or enroll in benefits during open enrollment. It is less appropriate for people looking to explore personal or additional benefits that are separate from the employer. It is more designed for benefit administrators than it is for individual users.

bswift makes benefits selection a breeze

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

bswift is being used across my company for the selection and utilization of health benefits for all full time employees.

Pros

  • bswift breaks down each benefit into its individual components really well.
  • bswift provides ample resources for additional support (phone numbers, emails, FAQ documents)
  • bswift makes it easy to compare the pros and cons of several benefit alternatives

Cons

  • bswift can make it easier for a user to locate and initiate annual enrollment
  • bswift can do a better job of providing a comprehensive description of each category of benefits

Likelihood to Recommend

bswift works really well for comparing the options your employer provides for a given category of benefits and for quickly tabulating the cost of a specific combination of benefits.

Improve your Benefit process with bswift

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

bswift is being used by our North American operations.
They are our benefit providers who manage our contracts and plans with Aetna.
They have been a much cheaper option than having an in house benefit management team. Also, we have been able to run our open enrollment in a much more efficient manner using them.

Pros

  • Open Enrollment Administration
  • Customer Service
  • Liaison with Benefit providers

Cons

  • They should have better price point for large customers
  • Better EDI for Oracle cloud

Likelihood to Recommend

bswift is well suited to manage the benefit requirements of large customers. It has the right set of tools and processes to make open enrollment a success. Also, the customer service provided is up to the mark.

The only concern I have is for commercials which I believe could have been more attractive.
