I use Calendly to schedule student connections for courses that I teach online. I like how effortless it is to use. Students click my Calendly link and select a day a time to meet with me. They can even select the length of our meeting. Calendly populates the meetings to my Outlook calendar and I get an email to let me know that a meeting has been scheduled.
Pros
Calendly provides students with all of my available time slots.
Students can select the day of time of a desired meeting.
All meetings populate immediately to my Outlook calendar.
Cons
I don't have any recommendations for improvement.

Calendly is great for automatically setting up meetings with students or clients. All I have to do is indicate my available time slots on days that I desire meetings to occur and Calendly does the rest. The meeting appears on my Calendar. I have set Calendly to populate to my Outlook calendar, but there are other options like Google Calendar.

I like using Calendly for client sessions. They book a 30 min, 60 min, or 90 min session & then it is added to my Google calendar and their calendar.
In our organization we used Calendly to schedule calls and appointments across different associates with new and existing clients to properly distribute workload and harvest new leads. Calendly helped us to schedule consultations with leads and assign them to someone who has the proper expertise to help with their consulting needs. It also helped us to schedule existing clients with their account representative and anyone else who needed to be included. It really helped connecting clients, new or existing, schedules with our companies work load and schedule to have a seamless interaction and not let anyone slip through the cracks.
Pros
Calendly helps to schedule clients calls with their open times and the companies
It helps us harvest new leads by allowing interested people to schedule calls at their convenience
Easily set up and schedule calls or meetings and have a good overview of monthly scheduling
Cons
Integration to other calendars could be a bit more smooth
It would be nice if there was a way to filter unwanted meetings
a prioritizing feature would be nice in case of scheduling conflicts

I think it is very helpful in situations where you need someone to schedule a call based on the clients openings or to have an options for prospective clients to schedule a call with you. It might not work as well for established clients that you have a regular meeting with or a closer relationship to.
We use Calendly for all of our sales and implementation meetings/demos/onboarding calls, etc. We use it for customers and prospects to be able to book in with many different people at our company and to learn about many different types of products/services that we sell.
Pros
Strong outlook integration.
Strong salesforce integration
Great email and text reminders for meetings
Easy ability to update avaliability and all settings
Strong dashboard and reporting
Cons
It could be better with routing to certain people based on rules set/criteria based on data in salesforce
It sometimes doesn’t equal out for round Robin meetings based on equal distribution- more demos getting booked in with certain reps for some reason.
It would be really nice if you could change the type of meeting that is already booked to a different event type within the dashboard instead of having to cancel and reschedule that meeting
Likelihood to Recommend
I love how easy Calendly is to use. Changing meeting types, updating meetings within the dashboard, automating reminders, etc are all so easy to use with Calendly. It also works very well even if you have many different roles within your company and are selling many different types of products.
I use Calendly to book meetings quickly and conveniently at the convenience of others. Back-and-forth meeting availability wastes time, but Calendly lets me easily access my calendar so others can book what works best for them.
Pros
Convenience
Ease of use.
Custom meeting types.
Cons
The one-off meeting type needs a better release/reset feature when meetings aren’t booked.

I think it’s best used if you are booking meetings outside internal orgs. Usually, internal organization calendars are already synced, but for someone with a lot of client meetings, it works great!
We use Calendly to offer a scheduling solution to people outside our org. Simple product and simple solution - works really well for what it's made for. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a scheduling tool to try Calendly, you won't be dissapointed and you will never search for another scheduling tool.
Pros
Allows someone to schedule an open slot on a calendar
Integrates well with Google calendar and Slack
Allows you to customize your scheduling preference, duration of meetings etc.
Cons
AI functionality
Maybe support in less common languages (Slovenian for example)
Dark mode option

It's well suited in any professional seting in my opinion. I have never had a situation where it wouldn't be appropriate in any way. I have used it from team 1 on 1s, for talking to new recruits, online training sessions, availability for our team members if they wanted to reach out.

Our whole sales team uses Calendly for customers to book appointments with their specific loan officers!
Pros
Integration with outlook calendar to only present time slots with actual availability
Customization of time slots - auto setting space between meetings, certain days of the week for availability, etc
Ability to view calendars in your own timezone for customers across the country is super helpful!
Cons
Auto-generating zoom/teams links would be helpful (not sure if this integration exists)
Round-robin assignment of meetings for teams based on availability/capacity

Super user-friendly on both internal and external sides! It has been a life-saver as a sales rep to send a link or have it in my signature so my clients can always see my availability.
Calendly has been great for scheduling podcast guests, lessons for musical students, and coaching sessions online. It lets me give people an easy link to click and then find a time that matches their schedules. I like that it has options of different time amounts available, like 30-minute or hour sessions. That helps with the various types of coaching that I use. I also can define specific periods to schedule people and have the exact times across days and weeks or take a day and personalize my schedule. For example, I can do that if I have all Tuesdays from 1-3 pm but want a specific Tuesday to be different times available. It also lets you connect with an outside app like Zoom to give people their links, so I don't have to send the links separately. I can organize my different coaching people in a color-coated event type. For example, my students will be in a pink color and my podcast guests in a green. It's such a great tool, and it is worth the money for the hassle it solves.
Pros
Organization--different event types.
Specificity--you can create days the same or do date specific hours.
It makes things simple for the client by giving them an easy link for signup.
Cons
Calendly changed its layout for the user, and it is a little harder to find things like date-specific information or some of the editing. It's still there, but not as easily seen.
I wouldn't mind making it easier for clients to cancel their appointments and then schedule new ones. It takes some effort on their part.
It would be nice to have a way to embed it on a website or outside place.

It's well suited for music students' lessons. It's well suited for online coaching, primarily through places like Zoom and more. It helps simplify things for your clients, lets you program your schedule, and allows it all to go automatically! If you are working with a senior population, it may be a little tricky for them to sign up and then really hard for them to cancel lessons. There isn't a way to go to the site and cancel. You have to pull up the confirmed email and cancel from there, but people can lose emails.
I love calendly to help schedule meetings. Saves so much back and forth time.
Pros
Easy to schedule
Simple to update availability
Easy to use
Cons
Hate seasons time change and how that affects availability as a photographer and there's no way change except to have events based on season
Likelihood to Recommend
Whether you're meeting someone in person or online, any meeting 5 minutes to I think up to 12 plus hours you can schedule. It also updates based off your availability in your calendar if you already use a standard digital calendar for all your events!
As software as a service, we must constantly arrange time for customers or trials. It gets more complex, mainly when working with different time zones. In my daily use, using Calendly makes it easier for trials to schedule demonstrations, feedback sessions, or any other type of schedule needed.
Pros
Self service schedule.
Integrate to my calendar.
set everything up.
Cons
Automatic confirmation.
Customize messages.
Custom fields to be scheduled.

I have been using Calendly for quite some time, always in the free account. I understand that some things that I miss, might be available on the paid product. Sadly, for people working outside US or with a weaker currency it can be a little frustrating. I highly recommend, even with this small problem regarding payment.
