Our company uses ContractWorks as our contract database. It is extremely user-friendly and allows for easy access and organization across different departments within the company.

User-friendly with training tools and webinars.
Responsive customer support.
Effective search tool to quickly navigate through documents.
Cons
A lot of manual entry needed when utilizing the e-signature function.

[A] user-friendly platform that allows multiple users to store and organize documents across various departments within the company for easy access. [A] tagging feature is a helpful tool in sending reminders for upcoming renewals, etc.
We implemented CW across the Firm to manage all the agreements excluding employment. We have been able to get a 95% hold of the agreements and, in time, to implement several measures to manage them more efficiently. Results have been excellent, CW is very easy to use and powerful at what it does.
Pros
Managing renewals[.]
Managing timed fee increases[.]
Easy storing and retrieval of contracts[.]
Manage roles to determine who sees what. Very granular.
[The] signature process is quite powerful, and because it's integrated comes with management.
Cons
Could use a more serious lift in communication to match its features. We are a law firm, not a startup.

CW does not promise to integrate with your payables, receivables, to revolutionize everything. [It does not feature Leaden] and delivers EXACTLY what [it] promises. If you need to manage your [contacts], store them securely (they use AWS, we never had a down moment in 3 years) and provide your company with the means to actually USE them for what they are (a source of revenue, not trouble) then CW is for you. If you want [software] that promises to plug in the space station look elsewhere ( I did that in a previous job, recommend buying aspirin in bulk). Also, be ready to spend a lot more for your trouble.
We're using ContractWorks to centralize, organize and increase visibility on our supplier contracts. Previously, contracts were housed with various departments. Centralization allows us to see when one supplier provides multiple services across the Enterprise. Tagging Templates allow us to easily create alerts for term and language updates, as well as run reports for specific Ts & Cs.
Pros
The product allows you to grow into the features and price points. No additional charges for implementation support. We started with one department, then shared our positive experiences with other departments to gain wider acceptance.
Stellar customer support! Great variety with video, email, and phone assistance. Product training and tutorials are also readily available for self-service. The short (live or on-demand) webinars are quick, to the point, and very helpful to continually learn how to better use ContractWorks.
The flexible folder structure is super easy to set up and match needs for each department. Easy to navigate and drag & drop to load documents.
ContractWorks account managers listen to customers and the organization responds with new and improved features.
ContractWorks continues to improve upon and expand platform capabilities
Cons
Bulk sending contracts/documents for annual updates and eSignatures
I haven't gotten the hang of creating Reports. It's still mostly trial and error for me.

When compared with other options for us, ContractWorks was easiest to understand, more affordable, and most flexible. Users of all levels could catch on quickly so acceptance of the tool is better.
We use ContractWorks to serve as an archive for executed agreements and supporting documentation, including employment agreements. We also use its approvals function to mediate our internal contract review process and to sign documents electronically. It is used by the administrative offices of this healthcare organization for all documents executed by the company. It has made managing our archive much easier, permitting text-based search of documents spanning several decades. This is a vast improvement on the simple directory folder we had in the past. Furthermore, electronic review, signature, and approval has significantly simplified the contract review process and permitted paperless review at any time on any device for our major stakeholders. It has been a game changer.
Pros
Ease of use/simple to teach.
Unlimited document storage.
Exceptionally helpful and prompt support.
Responsive developers.
Cons
Allowing changes to documents midway through approvals/signatures.
More sophisticated interface for searching in document text would be nice.
Some ability to restart agreements that have been declined by intermediate approvers would be nice also.

ContractWorks is an excellent solution for any organization in our position: going from no contract management solution at all to one that is simple to use, easy to train on, and does the basics exceedingly well. The product is constantly evolving and adding new functionality that we have found very, very useful. Over the years since we adopted it, we have found that our users want more and more out of its functionality, and at times we have had to explain to stakeholders that there are limitations to this software (especially concerning changing the content of a document sent for review in the software itself, which cannot presently be done). It is very easy to manage user roles and permissions, and it's very easy to use the product from any kind of smart device.
More sophisticated users that use more sophisticated products already may find that the kind of robust in-software document editing/revision functions that some contract management products offer just isn't here, and that is true. There are reporting features here that are more than enough for organizations starting from scratch, but are probably limited for organizations looking for very granular information about their contracts. There is a significant time investment involved in tagging your contract database when it enters ContractWorks, although I suspect that is true for just about all products.
We have multiple departments using it as a contract management software to ensure that contracts and their requirements are being tracked as well as using it as an electronic tool to sign documents.
Pros
E-sign
KPI tracking
Notifications of key milestones
Cons
E-sign: Transferring of signatures would be ideal or the loading of a personal signature into the e-sign field rather than a generic signature being populated.
AI: The tagging does not pick up things nor does the software really learn what you want it to. There is a fair bit of manual data entry that has to be done.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is great with setting up notifications and tracking key milestones. However, when there is a requirement to initial every page of a document, one must click on multiple e-signature fields.
