D&B Connect is an AI-driven Data Management Platform based on the D&B Cloud that provides businesses with customer data and market insights. With D&B connect, users can collaborate on data management tasks, visualize, monitor, and benchmark data, as well as assess overall data health. Integrations with Master Data Management Platforms, Customer Data Platforms, and CRMs enable automated data updates and anomaly detection through the identity resolution engine. MAP integrations allow for the automation of cross-channel marketing tasks on social media, email, and websites.

We use D&B Connect on a daily basis to validate and the business information, risk segment and credit history. It's also a part of due diligence for our vendor onboarding process. D&B Connect has its own data base and very trustworthy for business to identify risk level, highly recommend it!

D&B Connect is truly a lifeline to our company when

evaluating potential customers and reviewing current customers'

financial health. We utilize the program weekly, and it allows our teams to get a more in-depth look at who we're doing business with. I highly recommend the program. The only slight downside is the overall cost, which is higher than we would like.

Was Good earlier but other tools are much better, Expensive, ROI may not be met.

We Used D&B mainly for sales intelligence, we used this tool to find people who had the intention of taking services similar to what we offer. We used the tool to search people mainly in the US and India. The main problem is the reach the right people at the right time, D&B helps in identifying them, this narrows down the number of people we need to approach to make our pitch. I guess they use cookies to identify the people from companies who search the net for particular services and thus letting us know the intent to buy.

  • It has as very good filter that helps pinpoint your targeted audience.
  • It has a large pool of contacts within the company, so helps to reach out to the right person via several connections.
  • The data available is fresh and current.

Cons

  • Further breakdown of industries can be done.
  • Executives who are decision makes can be indicated in a better way.
  • Too expensive.

Return on Investment

  • ROI can be achieved anywhere between 6 to 12 months depending upon your business.
  • The product is expensive but the data provided is good to an extent and a big sale can help achieve your ROI.
  • The data accuracy sometimes can be bad leading to bad domain reputation.

We use it to assess Risk when extending Credit to our customers. We also use it to set new contract rates annually for our existing customers. I'm in the database at least three times per week.

  • A search using TAX ID or FEIN numbers.
  • Updated list of LLCs in each state.

  • It has established a baseline/process on who we do business with.
