Demodesk is one of the best video conferencing tools. Demodesk is in direct competition with the best in the market, i.e. MS Teams. The best part of Demodesk is its screen sharing, as there is no need to record the session in private space as it will be saved in the cloud. Instead of sharing the local desktop, they provide a virtual display that acts as a medium to meet and engage with other users or customers.

Well Suited: Demodesk gives a smooth and professional platform to host our demos, and

solves a lot of data issues by syncing with our CRM, so all our notes

and information from our demos are immediately updated. Less appropriate: We have all the data that syncs to our CRM and weekly reports from

DemoDesk, but it would be great to have more visibility of the data and

more ways to look at the information coming in.

Demodesk was used as an experiment in our organization through our admissions department - as they would have to recruit agents that would also recruit future students. Therefore, we tried to use it as a sales platform when meeting new international agents instead of a simple ZOOM or Google meeting.

  • Allows attendees to work on the same screen without downloading anything.
  • No downloads or lags in the software.
  • Clean interface.
  • Ability to record sessions.
  • Interactive screen-sharing.

Cons

  • No chat functionality.
  • No intercom integration.
  • Program can become buggy and unstable.

Demodesk has the ability to have all meeting attendees work on the same screen without downloading anything. For us, it really increased potential customer's engagement/sense of participation, because now they can play with the software themselves instead of us showing them how it works, and they can try with a real use case instead of mock data we made.

I've been a part of a sales team that uses it at a previous company. It was nice to let customers schedule time with our team when it fit everyone's schedule. Also nice that we didn't have to manage it ourselves. And from an SME standpoint, I don't have to waste any time thinking about scheduling, it just shows up.

It's well suited if you have a lot of customer meetings and you need to juggle the time of your internal employees and external clients. Finding time where everyone's schedules link up is frustrating, as well as many meeting share sites that have limited capabilities. Demodesk is great if you have a product to show off and need a good platform to do that with.

We also use it to help schedule the calls and integrate it with our calendars. Overall the tool is super helpful and helped us increase sales.

This is a very important tool we use for the sales stack. We use Demodesk to onboard our new customers. The playbooks for the demo are simply amazing; the shared control is a really good feature and helps us for an easier walkthrough of our products being offered to our customers.

Demodesk really helped us with sales calls in the new digital world. This helps the sales team have more efficient demonstrations, automatic recordings to help remember the calls, and a much more visually appealing workspace for our prospects to see. The lack of lagging from personal screens was a huge help as well.
