Envoy is the BEST!

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use this whenever we have a visitor

Pros

  • It provides accountability
  • Its quite user friendly
  • Allows for record keeping

Cons

  • There aren't any features that are hard to use
  • In my opinion, I wish I can have an "idiot button" for visitors to press when they say "This is too complicated..."
  • I wouldn't mind if it were more personalized. Like to change a font color or background to match with a particular user.

Likelihood to Recommend

There is nothing inappropriate about Envoy. This actually came in very handy during the time when you had to be masked in my office and with other COVID safety protocols. This also helps me determine which people are more tech savvy over others. Those that come in tp interview usually are intelligent enough to have the QR Reader on their mobile devices already ready to use. These are the smart ones. Midlevel users fill everything out when they arrive. The people who whine and complain by saying "this is too complicated" are promptly escorted to the exit.

Envoy Visitors keeps your business ahead of the rest.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Envoy Visitors on a regular basis and it’s just a fantastic system to complement other office management systems and options we have. The main business issues that Envoy Visitors solve are keeping track of who is coming in and out of our buildings, and making sure that we are utilizing the office space as efficiently and effectively as possible. I am not the only one responsible for purchasing this software.

Pros

  • Capturing the numbers of people entering a building.
  • Clear reporting.
  • Easy to use.

Cons

  • Doesn’t cover all aspects of office management.
  • After sales service could be better.

Likelihood to Recommend

Envoy Visitors would suit most office buildings and locations. It will easily cater to small, medium, and large enterprises. It is multi-faceted and very flexible to cope with any amount of people's data and is excellent for any companies wishing to capture the numbers of people entering and leaving their buildings. Its reporting capabilities are especially useful for operational and maintenance management.

Intuitive and User Friendly

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used Envoy to track when people were planning on coming into the office, especially during COVID. We were able to register in advance and then actually sign in to the application once we arrived at work for the day. We also had the option of signing in with security once we arrived.

Pros

  • User friendly.
  • Not too complicated.

Cons

  • Visibility.
  • Freezing, rarely.
  • Widget

Likelihood to Recommend

Envoy is best suited for workplaces that are mostly remote or hybrid. This is becoming more and more common for a lot of businesses, so Envoy fits well in places where employees don’t always know how many people will be in the office or at home on a day-to-day basis.

Envoy

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Since 2020, we've been all over the place... all remote, hybrid model, etc. Since then we have gone to a hot desk environment in our office. Envoy enables us to do several things... reserve desks for the days you're coming into the office and track who was in the office & when. The ability to set up contract tracing and notify those who may have been exposed has helped us get back into the office.

Pros

  • Easily track and manage who is in your office.
  • Better security, as you know who is or was in your office.

Cons

  • Better user adoption.

Likelihood to Recommend

In an office environment that occasionally has visitors. Instead of not tracking the visitors, have them use Envoy for tracking purposes. I would say that companies that have a large number of visitors may want to use a different solution.

Envoy Visitors - Review May 2022 NYC

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I found the tool useful in the fact that our building has strict policies when it comes to guest entry. especially with the COVID precautions that have been in place for several months. the Envoy visitors app and their general application made it easy for me to certify myself as healthy as well as guests visiting our office

Pros

  • Ease of use and UX
  • checking the needed boxes for someone to be covid compliant in NYC
  • application use instead of just website

Cons

  • seems like a lot of updates
  • sometimes the app crashes
  • with regulations changing all the time. i worry if it's up to date

Likelihood to Recommend

when there is a spike in covid or any other form of contagious disease the visitor app is basically vital to any in person meetings. plain and simple. If the company wants to stay compliant with whatever the current regulations then a tool like this is needed. the biggest piece is ensure it's always up to date with the local restrictions. It's also very useful because our office managers do not need to be wasting their day time dealing with this stuff that can be done electronically

Envoy has been pivotal in our hybrid workforce and office-visit scheduling.

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Upon reopening our office, our company implemented Envoy to register and confirm employees and visitors in our multiple office locations. It allows us to track employees who will plan on being present on location, and confirm vaccinations/lack of symptoms prior to their arrival. I use the app to see who will be in the office and schedule my visit in advance for a streamlined experience when coming into the office.

Pros

  • Office visit planning (who is coming).
  • Confirm vaccination (previously).
  • Register for in office visits.

Cons

  • Cannot thing of anything in particular.

Likelihood to Recommend

If your company is embracing the hybrid workforce, then Envoy would be a great solution for you. Its ability to streamline the process of registering your visit so that others can see when and where you'll be in the office encourages others to visit the office as well. You’re also able to confirm certain vaccination statuses and confirm whether or not visitors have had any sickness symptoms prior to their visit. Very easy-to-use and attractive interface.

Seamless desk reservations and health screening

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Envoy Visitors to manage desks in our organization. We switched to a hoteling system post-pandemic and this allows us to let our associates pick the desk of their choice when in the office. We also created health screening questions to manage potential COVID exposures in our office but may be turning this feature off eventually.

Pros

  • Easy app to use
  • Booking a desk is simple
  • Easy to configure and add/remove employees

Cons

  • The limited time windows are easy to enable but hard to turn off
  • The app could offer more features like real-time viewing of who is sitting in what desk
  • Missing your window for booking a desk is frustrating

Likelihood to Recommend

Envoy Visitors is great for a mid to large sized organization that wants to implement hoteling in their office quickly and easily. It made it easy for us to collect employees' vaccination cards in a HIPAA safe way. It might not be well suited for smaller organizations who don't have many desks available.

Great for COVID protocols

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Envoy to manage folks coming in and out of the building. This has been especially helpful with all the COVID protocols in place. This allows us to know who is in the building on any given day and allows people to plan their trip accordingly. We can also manage symptoms and illness status.

Pros

  • Tracks visitors
  • Easy sign in
  • Good mobile app

Cons

  • Mobile app is not always user friendly
  • Have to sign in every time
  • No way to easily automate

Likelihood to Recommend

I think this works great for COVID and for buildings where there are lots of protocols in place. The initial rollout was a hassle though since people are not used to signing in with an app, just their badge. So keep this in mind if you decide to deploy this.

Envoy Visitors gets the job done right !

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Envoy to log employees / visitors coming into our multiple locations. In the past I’ve been an envoy admin, but now I am an envoy visitor of the platform. It helps us solve Covid related concerns at the business and personnel who will be covering in-office support. It’s been a game changer in this pandemic for all of our locations.

Pros

  • Complete Covid questions
  • Sign up in advance
  • Allocate resources / desks

Cons

  • Smoother check in process for people who sign up in advance
  • Control UI

Likelihood to Recommend

Areas where a company has multiple locations in a state or an entire country is helpful. Understanding the Covid concerns before employees come in and can have them fill out questionnaires.

Digital Sign-In Experience Using Off-The-Shelf Hardware (iPad)

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

While consulting to a progressive accounting firm who was looking at improving their digital presence they also identified that they wanted to streamline other analogue processes and wanted to go 100% paperless. Prior to Envoy there was no official sign-in book and no consistent record of visitors entering the building. Envoy has been used for the past 5 years by our client at 4 office locations as an electronic sign-in book and the meeting invite functionality provides a consistent and welcoming level of professionalism even before any new clients even travel to their buildings.

Pros

  • Utilise off-the-shelf hardware (iPad) for a seamless sign-in experience.
  • Ability to send NDA's electronically and accept digital signatures on the iPad.

Cons

  • The current pricing is aimed at more enterprise customers.

Likelihood to Recommend

Envoy is an excellent application of a simple digital sign-in experience that uses off-the-shelf hardware. The ability to use the Envoy passport app creates a gamified feel for frequent users with their "visitor stamps" and is very convenient with the Bluetooth function that detects when the frequent visitor has entered the building.
