Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I both use it in my own business and resell it to my customers as an MSP. Having standardised signatures and logos, that are deployed centrally, means that all needed/required information is automatically included in emails. This way you are not relying on users creating their own signatures and potentially missing regulatory information.

Pros

Its ease of use once you have become familiar with it, which is not that difficult.
Ability to centrally deploy signatures or, as local client ones.
Provides an easy to use portal, which makes managing multiple clients simple.

Cons

Make it easier to understand the use of images in signatures e.g. that image size can affect contact details font size.

Likelihood to Recommend

As Exclaimer has set up a process for resellers to be able to supply small quantities of licenses via distributors, it is now very attractive for small businesses, particularly those with less than 10 staff. It means they can have centrally controlled and regulatory compliant email signatures, managed by the reseller, without needing in house expertise.

We are an Exclaimer Re-seller and provide solutions to a variety of small to medium size businesses in our customer base. The biggest problem it is solving is ensuring consistency with business branding and reducing room for an error. Additionally, taking the signature management responsibilities away from Marketing/Company IT Personnel. With optional granular access allowing them to participate and see the benefits or configurations of certain areas.

Exclaimer is well suited for small to large sized businesses looking to standardize their customer facing brand (signatures) in an easy and efficient way. The time-based feature is very helpful for the campaign and seasonal kind of scenarios for retail and hospitality areas. Meanwhile, the generic template management approach and variety of conditions that can be applied simplifies the "get started" phase.

We currently use Exclaimer for signature management within our organisation, along with selling and configuring the product for our clients.

We use it to design, roll out signatures along with seasonal promotions, etc., etc. This covers both our internal use and client.

Central Signature Management
Setting up of the signature with Google or Microsoft
Signature Design/Templates

Cons

A CSS Editor or the ability to use html etc. to design rather then only WYSIWYG editor
UI could do with some work, some things are difficult to find but once you get used to it, it's fine

We use Exclaimer for large clients with 50+ seats. This is due to Exclaimer being able to add signatures automatically, pulling details from Office 365 like Name, phone number, email address, etc. This makes user onboarding and setup easier as signatures are not required. It also creates a streamlined brand with everyone having the same signature.

We use exclaimer to ensure we have consistent branding in our email across the entire organisation. we had users making up their own signatures that always had different fonts or colours and not reflective of the business. Using Exclaimer, we are able to keep the branding constant and if we want to make changes, it happens org wide without a problem.

Having signatures per department is simple
Easy of use. Product is intuitive

Cons

Nothing stands out, it offers all the features we require

Likelihood to Recommend

For organisations less than 5 people, it does not make sense. Companies that are over the 5 staff, Exclaimer is a perfect fit

We use exclaimer to add signature's to our 130+ Mailboxes. It enables the signatures to be the same corporate colours & format across the business. It has flexibility which enables us to take into account various job types & details which need to be present. Previously signatures were not uniform & looked unprofessional. It also enables us to advertise events, promotions or news to our customers easily at the bottom of each email without it feeling intrusive.

Exclaimer is suitable to all businesses which use email as its cloud based it does not need infrastructure onsite. It enables text to be formatted, images to be positioned & links to be included in at the bottom of emails. It doesn't work on instant messages such as whats app but this could be something which may be available in future?

Easily to modify signatures inside their portal
Streamlines the ability to view signatures in test prior to adoption

Cons

O365 tenant syncing could be easier to process from main screen, something like "sync now" on home screen compared to locating it within the structure.

Exclaimer has enabled us to have a congruent approach to our email signatures. We have created a structure that is consistent amongst all staff and our regularly changing banners are easy to adjust on the Exclaimer portal. I am really pleased with the way the user customisation works, users are able to add their own details whilst the Exclaimer template maintains the structure of the signature. This has saved us a lot of time as well as ensuring a professional looking signature for all staff.

This is great for organisations that value a consistent approach to their signatures. It ensures that all staff are presenting in the same way. The portal allows an administrator to customise the signature down to fine details. The options for user customisation are also manageable and allow freedom without interfering with the main body of the signature.

Exclaimer automatically adds centrally managed signatures to all our emails on mobile devices and web access mail, saving us time and hassle previously spent managing signatures manually on all user devices.

Pros

Excellent interface for creating and managing signature content
Extensive set of options to personalise signature content with data synced from our on-premise Active Directory to Microsoft 365.
Multiple signatures available to allow users to switch signature branding via the Exclaimer Outlook add-in.

Cons

Exclaimer has intrusive pop-ups to remind you to save changes. A simple asterisk against each item would be sufficient.
Having to navigate back to the main menu page rather than directly jumping between signature groups is annoying.

Likelihood to Recommend

The biggest win for us is centralised management across all devices/interfaces, it saves so much time and ensure the signatures are always up to date. With our previous solution we would often find folks had old signatures on mobile or web mail, which is one sure fire way to upset the marketing team.

We use Exclaimer internally and for clients who are looking to ensure signatures are applied to all emails even from mobile devices ensuring our brand is on all emails and look the same. It also allows us to not have to send updated signatures and wait for staff to apply them, when job titles change we dont need to adjust this on signatures as it pulls through.
