I work for a West Coast-based health care provider. Our 11 staff members travel to client home at least monthly to provide Peer-related services to those struggling with mental health or substance use issues. We each have an Expensify card used for gas, office gear, and to buy items for our clients. The card has never been turned down or questioned. Receipts are a snap to upload and turn in, with enough detail that I've never yet had to explain anything to my manager about my purchases. We all use it almost daily, and love the lack of hassle we've had with other systems. I highly recommend Expensify!

Can't think of a thing at this point; very satisfied...

Likelihood to Recommend

Auto gas, repair, rental are all good. No need for a PIN or a zip code entry makes purchases quick and easy. The fact that the app also records the purchase has come in handy when an actual receipt was lost.

Expensify is a very easy-to-use platform we use at work to reimburse business expenses. It makes the whole process simple and efficient and has been quite helpful in managing claims smoothly.

Pros

It streamlines the reimbursement process by enabling easy submission, approval workflows, and faster processing without manual paperwork.
It helps reduce errors and saves time through automatic categorization and integration with accounting systems.

Cons

The app can feel a bit confusing at first, especially when switching between expenses and reports.
Receipt scanning isn’t always perfect, especially if the image is unclear, so sometimes you still need to fix details manually.

In my organization, we use Expensify to send business travel invoices and tickets, in organized per-travel/event category, and get those reimbursed back to us.
From a user (not an administrator) perspective, it is a quite easy platform to use, you can scan receipts and some of the data will get easily filled in, and it provides different functionalities such as detecting date and amount of money, which also helps with typos or fields you may have forgotten.
It allows you to track progress of reimbursements submitted, and allows for chatting with the person reviewing requests to leave small notes or clarifications about certains expenses. It's quite easy and useful, I'd really recommend it :)

Sometimes uploading the receipt, scanning it takes too long

I think it's really useful for helping out with business travel and it is really handy to have this kind of application, expenses are really easy to submit. You can just email them as you go and they will get uploaded to your account. You can further organize them later on.

I use Expensify at my org for travel expense management as well as event expense management. I use it to upload, approve, and keep track of the budgets and personal spends that I've used in a business context, in order to get them reimbursed.

Pros

Uploading receipts from mobile phone - game changer
The in-report overview is really well cone and simple

Cons

Maybe the reports could be hard to understand if you haven't tried this format before.

I've had lots of experience with other tools, and none of them have been as straightforward to use as Expensify. Most of them have actually been more like pulling teeth with hard to understand fields, and buggy systems. Expensify is a breeze.

We use Expensify to track our expenses as an Auto Body Shop. Everything from shop supplies to parts to fees to bills is covered under the broad umbrella of Expensify. I am able to keep everything in order and search by any number of various factors. It even helps to remind me if I double anything up by accident.

Pros

Itemizing expenses.
Search fields and criteria.
Fast responses and excellent customer service/ trouble shooting help.
Easy to understand and follow instructions for all application uses.
Mobile device capability.

Cons

Sometimes the server is down for several minutes or longer during key processing times. Less of that would be swell.
Do away with the redundancy between individual expense and full on reports.
Don't demand 3 examples of criticism.

Likelihood to Recommend

As a whole, Expensify allows me to organize my QuickBooks accounts much more easily, smoothly, and efficiently than other options. It gives me ample time to reconcile any discrepancies and makes it easy to enter my expenses, even if I have to come back and fill in the details later.

We use Expensify for all company expenses. It keeps track of things so easily. The option of automatically downloading receipts and invoices is amazing. I basically just swipe the card and don't worry anymore. Also being able to see everything in one spot makes it very easy to keep track of what's spent. Best expense report I've ever used.

I had to prepare for a field event for my agency. I was able to go out and purchase everything needed on my Expensify card. I did not need to keep track of anything because everything was explained through the website. It was an easy experience and I had no issues with explaining all purchases.

I have been using Expensify since my Day 1 at my company and I have no complains and just good feedback to say about this trustworthy platform. All my reimbursements and other travel and expenses is solely provided and a reported under Expensify. I can say that everyone should at least have a try and note how important a dedicated platform like Expensify is important for small, medium and large companies.

I use Expensify with my job to get quick reimbursement for my travel and food expenses. It is fairly easy to do and I get reimbursed directly to my bank account. It is easy to upload receipts! Highly recommend. Expensify is used for employees to get reimbursed quickly and with little work on the manager's part.

Cons

It is easier to manipulate on my computer to put in the expense, but I used my phone to take pictures of the receipts.
I would like a step by step guide to help me enter my mileage.
Just easier way to input the data needed.

Pros

EASY TO USE.
Love the simplicity - words, interacting.
I have been working professionally for 35 years, and Expensify is the most intuitive reimbursement software I have ever used.
Quick turnaround between end users (sales reps) and the company admins.

Cons

I have no examples, as Expensify is the best reimbursement program I have used in my 35 years of professional work.

Expensify makes tracking any and all expenses incredibly easy, just the click of a few buttons. From travel, lodging and daily meals all the way to team engagement it is easy to see what you've spent and where. Scanning receipts makes it even easier with Expensify. It saves all past uses, making it very simple to be able to go back and see what the past month, quarter and even yearly expenses have been paid out.
