Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Most of my team works from home or remotely. It was impossible to conduct an online pre-interview test and ensure the authenticity of the candidate. That is when I came across EYardstick and their proctoring solution is robust. I am very impressed with the accuracy in reporting, the deviations eventually brought integrity to virtual assessments.

Pros

  • Variety of question types, quality of the content used for hiring assessments.
  • Eyardstick's methodology of ensuring validity and reliability of the test is commendable.
  • Coding and database simulators. Video interviews.

Cons

  • Can conduct practical coding tests for Development, Front End, Database and Data Science roles but hackathons are not available.
  • Our candidates are using mobile responsive application for taking tests in Mobile. Good to give dedicated mobile applications.

EYardstick is a neat tool. It's not complicated to use and if your requirement is to do a pre-employment assessment for a wide variety of roles with minimal support then this is the right one for your team.

We incorporated EYardstick in our hiring process and find it very easy to use and informative. We are able to track applicants' progress and plan accordingly for the next step of our hiring process based on the accuracy of the information that report analysis provides. Excellent Talent Benchmarking and Pre-Employment assessment tool

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

On average we interview 500+ candidates on a monthly basis, we had a technical team dedicated for doing these initial level interviews. But after the tool is introduced, most of the team is now working on fixes and support and also the conversions improved up to 90%. So now we only talk to "Potential" Candidates who clear the tests with the set benchmark.

Pros

  • The ability to create almost any kind of assessment for different job roles in just a few minutes is the product's greatest advantage.
  • Online Java Coding tests, Devops tests and Online Full Stack developer tests meticulously cover all the competencies that need to be measured which constitutes majority of our hiring.

Cons

  • Wish to have AI-based shortlisting feature.
  • Analytics can be more advanced.
  • Though tool has a lot of reports but to derive the value out of it is time consuming. Hope they improve in this aspect.

Likelihood to Recommend

Using EYardstick as a pre-employment assessment tool will reduce a lot of overhead in talking to so many candidates who are not even close to the opening you have.

Best assessment tool for identifying QA Engineers

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Introduction of pre-employment assessments as a precursor before actual interviews is surprisingly making us talk to almost perfect fits. There are two things we observed, one is the knowledge and skill of the candidate and also his seriousness as he is spending around 90 minutes for a test.

Pros

  • Coding simulators with pre-built questions for many roles.
  • Wide variety of topics in software testing space.
  • Availability of questions on niche topics like BDD, Cucumber, etc.

Cons

  • Reporting and analytics module can include more detailed reports.
  • UI should be customisable to meet the company's branding colors.
  • Some of the topics can have more questions in their database.

Likelihood to Recommend

After using EYardstick, we have been able to ensure the candidates I hire are of the caliber needed for my job. A recent predictive validity of the test conducted in our team gave great results matching the test predictions.
