We needed a tool to develop network designs for end customers, working with the technical, engineering, admin and finance, and salespeople. This tool is perfect, it allows various people within the companies at various levels of technical ability, from near zero to high, to be able to work on a common project and achieve the end goal. Freedcamp is ideal, it allows Gnatt view, KanBan, and table views and switches between them with milestones as set by different departments, from Sales, Engineering Admin and Finance.
Pros
Provide simple easy to use interface from very simple views to more complex
Set Milestones by different departments for the project
Communicate across the project with different team members
Upload files and materials that need to be shared
Set different levels of ownership and access
Cons
CRM to be a little more complex
Better ability to invoice

I have used a number of different Project Management Tools and this is the one I always make the team come back to, it's easy to use, has great support, and can be used by people of various levels of technical ability. When planning a complicated network, that needs to be sold to a customer, all people within the company have needs that have to be addressed, from the obvious technical, but also legal, regulatory, finance, and ordering of equipment and all these have different milestones, that interconnect, this is where Freedcamp shines, it allows all of the company to work together to achieve the technical sale.
Being a research organization conducting multiple projects in the field of community and clinical nutrition, our team has been using Freedcamp to help us manage all our project activities. We not only find it useful in organizing and managing our various jobs but also find it very easy to use. We especially find the recurring items and sub-tasks feature most helpful. Moreover, they have a great support team who solve queries quickly and they also have many videos that take you through all the software features. Kudos to the creators and everyone involved in managing this wonderful app. It has definitely made managing our project easier.
Pros
Recurring Items - You can set reminders for daily, weekly or monthly recurring tasks. A life-saver!!!
Sub-Tasks - You can add sub-tasks to parent tasks. Makes managing the main task a whole lot easier.
File Upload - Can upload all necessary files for the project so that they can be easily accessed by the team
Cons
It would be helpful if tasks could be assigned to more than one person in the team

I think Freedcamp is best suited when you have to delegate tasks to team members and you can just follow their progress on the app without them having to come and inform you every time. It makes both delegation of tasks and follow-up on the team effortless. Moreover, it serves as a fantastic reminder for recurring tasks.
