Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Glean helps me easily find information about my company. It helps me be the best recruiter I can be because I can easily look up stuff like "what is this engineering team working on?" or "how many people are based in this office?". I love that is provides quick answers for me AND the sources that it came from.

  • Org charts / finding people at your company
  • I like the homepage and the look of it

Cons

  • I dont think this is Glean's fault, but I wish we could integrate with slack and email and everything
  • The "thinking" portion is still a bit slow

We use Glean as the search and AI tool integrated with multiple products and sources inside the organisation. We integrated Glean with Slack , confluence , emails etc to search the result across these sources and give the result. This help us in searching through the company data to get the relevant information.

I am an account executive and I use Glean to find information regarding contract workflows, product information, and asking questions to the Glean Chat and Search.

  • The AI Chat can definitely improve. I will ask it questions about our sales process and it should be referencing documents that I know are in our company Glean, but it will give me the wrong answer.

Glean is integrated to our local search how we do it on Google. Similarly for internally investigating on any issue , we just Glean it . With the help of Glean , all the integrated tools in my organization whichever we use for problem resolving , Glean searches through all of them in one click and gives all the relevant information accumulated. It not only points to the correct info what we are looking but makes life easier because of which we need not have to search individual tool one by one. Glean is nothing but an internal Google
