Use Cases and Deployment Scope
I use Glean in my every day routine. It enables me to quickly find internal resources, answers to questions, or customer content by simply searching in one place. Before Glean, we'd have to search for things individually across Confluence, GDrive, Slack, Zendesk, etc. which was very time consuming and often did not produce results. Gleans search functionality is far superior to these and does it all at once.

  • Single search capability across all systems
  • High accuracy of search results
  • Saves you time in day to day work
  • Offers customization with the homepage and go links
  • Surfacing results that are often clicked on at the top of the search results (i.e. a recommended result)
  • Use AI to suggest question answers based on search results

I think Glean can help any organization. It creates an internal search engine that is specific to your organization, and brings everything into one place. This allows you to access content you may not have otherwise found, especially because other systems do not have effective search capabilities

We use Glean in our organization primarily for its indexing capabilities and the convenience it provides in finding information. The product is particularly useful in addressing certain business problems such as the need for faster and more accurate searches, as well as the need to organize vast amounts of data in a user-friendly manner. Overall, Glean has been a valuable tool for our organization in improving productivity and streamlining our information management processes.

Likelihood to Recommend
Based on my experience, Glean is well suited for scenarios where you need to search through large amounts of information in a structured format, such as Confluence pages, knowledge bases, or other similar repositories. Glean's search algorithms make it easy to find the exact information you need, even if it's buried deep in a document or spread across multiple pages. On the other hand, Glean may be less appropriate for scenarios where you need to search through unstructured data, such as messages. While Glean can still be useful in these cases, its effectiveness may be limited.

Glean is integrated to our local search how we do it on Google. Similarly for internally investigating on any issue , we just Glean it . With the help of Glean , all the integrated tools in my organization whichever we use for problem resolving , Glean searches through all of them in one click and gives all the relevant information accumulated. It not only points to the correct info what we are looking but makes life easier because of which we need not have to search individual tool one by one. Glean is nothing but an internal Google

If any issue is required to be investigated, I simply put a few related keywords and all the relevant info just come in front

Sometimes I find difficulty in filtering the info , we may can add a few for improvement
