Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As a non-profit, we have several events throughout the year. We use Goodworld, Cheerful giving site to build our fundraising events and fundraiser profiles as it's very customizable and easy to use. The customer service is great, and they are very quick to respond to us with questions or help. Also, they are open to suggestions and are making changes/upgrades for an even better experience.

  • We have the same events year after year, and it might be nice for repeat donors/fundraisers not to have to create a new profile each year.

As an organization, we have several different types of fundraising events. This product allows us to have individual pages or a full event page. It's pretty straightforward, even for our donor fundraisers. They can create their own individual fundraising pages to share through social media or email. Their help and support are wonderful!

Goodworld has been instrumental in leveraging our corporate partners to support the mission of Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh. Their platform made it easy for individuals, departments, and entire companies to craft custom fundraisers and engage staff and their networks. We've also run several successful events on the platform and plan to run two more this year. Having event attendees, corporate partners, and individual donors in one place streamlines our Development department and has created opportunities for engagement that wouldn't otherwise have been possible.

Goodworld is perfect for our mid-sized nonprofit. We still use Salesforce as our CRM because our nonprofit does construction work, and many donors also sponsor home repairs, etc.; but for a smaller, less complex nonprofit, this platform could easily be a one-stop-shop!

For companies and larger nonprofits, this platform provides so many great tools under one roof that are easy to create, share, and track; but I'm sure an outside CRM would be useful for more complex tracking and analysis in those cases, as well.

All in all, I think this platform packs the biggest punch for the price! It's easy to use alone, and in tandem with other fundraising software, so it's been a big "win" in our books.

CHC: Creating Healthier Communities curates customized employee engagement opportunities for companies nationwide using Goodworld software. Our goal is to connect companies to the community year-round aligning with CSR and ESG priorities identified by each business. The Goodworld platform enables us to host activations ranging from payroll giving, one-time and reoccurring credit card donations, virtual events, volunteerism, and cause learning opportunities. We currently work with approximately 45 companies or local municipalities to host their workplace giving programs soliciting more than 70,000 U.S. employees to raise nearly $2.4 million in support of our high-impact nonprofit partners. Our success in meeting client needs can be attributed to Goodworld's platform adaptability and modern, user-friendly experience.

The Goodworld team has cultivated a culture of open feedback, idea-sharing, and mutual learning that has enabled them to create a superior giving technology platform. When matters of urgency arise I am always able to get in contact with my Goodworld representative and provide quick solutions. We have worked together to implement needed features serving specific users while adapting the solutions to be beneficial for all users making the platform more powerful with every phase of development.

Goodworld is easy to use with great customer service and I would 100% recommend if your goal is to raise money online!

Goodworld has been an important tool for our organization to scale up our fundraising digitally. During COVID-times when our organization has had to rely on fundraising online rather than our traditional in-person fundraising venues, we've made good use of Goodworld's donation and event page creation tools to showcase our community's stories, digital campaigns, peer-to-peer campaigns, and virtual events for the broader public.

Pros

  • SCIDpda has had very good experiences working with Goodworld's customer service and backend team to find accommodations on limitations in the interface/software and features not yet available. Questions are answered and addressed in a timely manner.
  • The ease of creating our digital campaigns on the drag-and-drop page creation interfaces is notable. Our fundraising content is easily prepared and readily deployed with Goodworld.

Cons

  • As we enter the world of in-person galas again, it would be nice to have some kind of integration with live auctions.

Choose Goodworld if your organization is seeking to raise money online. If you need to run a live auction, other software may be needed.

Goodworld makes online giving a snap!

The Hollywood Police Activities League uses Goodworld for our online giving and events software platform. We started using it last year, and have been pleased with it's user friendly landing page and campaign set ups. It's has definitely helped us streamline our online donation processing and overall online giving has increased. Additionally, we use the Events section for registration of participant and donor events which has gone very well so far. While I'm hoping they can add a couple options I understand are in the works for tailoring some of their pages, we are definitely happy with our transition to using the platform. Previously we were using several different online and point of purchase programs, with information being captured different ways, varying service charges and tracking gifts was messy. By settling under one platform - Goodworld - this also makes importing data into our CRM much more effective.

Pros

  • Ease of creating a branded landing page, Day 1 we were able to set up our main donation page on our website, that looked great, was easy to copy links, and with the page or event set up, it's easy to edit and update.
  • Donor list exports, easy to filter and download
  • Payment - Gift notifications are prompt

Cons

  • I'd like to see the functionality for tweaking event/ticket purchases to allow for a discount code or VIP code. That will allow us more flexibility with our event pages without having to do as much back end additions
  • For Campaigns, I'd like to see the option for Dollars raised without having to include the overall $ Goal. I'd also like to have a few other options for editing donations.
  • As the platform expands, it would be great to have a few more options for event pages to allow for a multiple logos that can have links, to showcase our sponsors better. This may already work, but I'm trying to figure it out better.

Likelihood to Recommend

I'd recommend the Goodworld platform for almost any scenario of online giving. It's definitely well suited for smaller grassroots organizations as it isn't cost-prohibitive, and helps get you up and running to process donations quickly. Their customer service has been great with fast response times and helping me get things sorted out quickly so there is not downtime for our front-end users. I'd say the only real challenge we experienced to date is regarding in-person events that need a point of purchase/donation swiper. For live events we still need to work out the particulars and I expect Goodworld will come up with a few options soon.

Goodworld was an excellent choice when transitioning from our previous CRM network. It is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and allows for design customization to ensure our branding is consistent. We also love that the reps are easy to get ahold of and have a turnaround of usually 1-2 business days. Brittany has been fantastic and we are very content with our purchase.

  • Easy to customize and design campaigns that fit our branding.
  • Easy to integrate onto our website without having to call developers.
  • Able to share via social media in a streamlined fashion.

Cons

  • If we were able to fully adjust the design blocks on the pages that would be great, they leave very awkward white space when you add many on the same page. Please add margins.

It is well suited to incorporate into our email campaigning and use the URL as a button.

We needed a product for our day-to-day donations and the ability to be set up for ticket sales for events. Goodworld had all these options and was easy to use, and gave a professional look at the event being set up.

We use the platform primarily for peer-to-peer fundraising, alongside

statewide campaign efforts, virtual food drives, etc. This platform has helped

us expand our donor base and increase community awareness about food insecurity

in our state.

  • I don’t really have any dislikes. The only time I have trouble with something is creating the appropriate graphics that work across all devices, especially mobile devices. It can be a bit cumbersome.

We use Goodworld for our online auction and most recently started using the peer-to-peer option. We had great success with our online auction. Tracking, donations, and receipts were easy to work with. Richie provided quick support when we initially started. So far we are very happy with the product

We use Goodworld to create custom campaigns to benefit nonprofits we feature in our "Force For Good" series. We use their donation links and Text To Donate features during our programs and on follow-up campaigns. They make it so easy for us to help others!

  • Would like to send campaigns out directly rather than through Mail Chimp or Constant Contact or other mass email platforms

Likelihood to Recommend

I create campaigns for multiple nonprofits, and they make it so easy to set up and manage campaigns and track donations. It would be good if they had the ability to support non-US nonprofits, currently, I think you need a US fiscal sponsor for it to work. But it is amazing for USA nonprofits!
