Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We began using GroundTruth as a way of targeting users of competing businesses for a new venture we were beginning. It's very niche, with a hard-to-target audience for other forms of advertising, so a campaign utilizing a geofence of competitor locations was perfect for what we want to achieve. We then started using it as a way to announce our presence at trade shows, targeting people within a very small radius at the location of the show or convention and letting them know where we were presenting.
Pros
- Excellent CPM
- Optimizes delivery when given multiple creatives
- Good customer service
Cons
- The ads manager can be a bit confusing at times
- Hard to find invoices outside of email, would love to have an account access panel
- E-mail reminders of when campaigns are scheduled to end.
Likelihood to Recommend
It's fantastic for targeting an audience when you know where they will be for a very low CPM. However, it's hard if you are a brick-and-mortar and want to truly measure the results. You need to get creative in ways to attribute site visits and purchases back to the campaign (unique coupon codes, etc.)
