Good solution for growth but lacking enterprise features

Rating: 6 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Managing the corporate website's marketing requirements including building landing pages, forms and integrating with SFDC to make sure leads are transferred to our CRM.

Pros

  • form building
  • landing pages
  • website content buidling

Cons

  • automation using AI
  • improved landing page experience so as to not appear blatantly as a landing page
  • interactive forms to make users more likely to fill out their information

Likelihood to Recommend

low budget and simplification of toolset. While many companies do rely on various leaders in each category, HubSpot CMS Hub can bridge the gap to be an all-in-one offering to counter the major CRMs or host more video content to keep users in the hubspot ecosystem instead of bouncing to youtube or other places where media is hosted.

An easy to use tool that supports a busy team to generate content quickly

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have used it for at least 10 years within the business and used almost every single feature that it offers, from control of all our landing pages, emails and assets to the reposting aspect as well.

We control multiple brands within the business so we set it up to have standardisation across multiple businesses via templates which helped speed up content creation and delivery from a stretched team

Pros

  • Asset control is super easy if your willing to create folder structures that make sense
  • Drag and drop building elements are great, even if you create custom blocks
  • control of domains and how they link into your main system is super easy

Cons

  • the reporting tools could do with a little bit more granularity
  • the control of custom fields for contact data that then get linked into form and automations could do with fine tuning as sometimes they didnt come across
  • the ability to define contact groups for the content thats being created instead of allowing all and then marketing would be helpful

Likelihood to Recommend

If you need to spin up landing pages for launches quickly having a standard template that you can pull from and work on quickly is great. We launch products in multiple regions so we can copy the data across, change the copy quickly to suit the regional tone and push it out with minimal effort

My experience with Hubspot CMS Hub

Rating: 6 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I used it in a real estate agency to develop the main website, landing pages, and also the client portal. We had integration with the entire ecosystem between sales and customer service. The HubSpot CMS Hub was part of the comprehensive inbound marketing strategy. I also worked on the blog and articles there.

Pros

  • Content personalization based on CRM data, dynamic content based on forms.
  • Workflow automation with integrated forms, which directly records the information of the user who fills out the form in the CRM, creating a contact or sales opportunity.
  • Drag-and-drop visual editor allows for easy page creation, and the templates offered are also functional.

Cons

  • Less flexible blogging features, does not allow as many plugins as WordPress
  • Limited version management and change control; without enterprise, changes and templates are only visible live.
  • Template editor with Hubl is still complex, coding knowledge is required.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you're going to use the entire HubSpot ecosystem, it could work, but I'm still a WordPress supporter. The truth is that editing themes or templates was very complex for me and limited to what the templates provide, unlike when I use Elementor and can build custom pages from scratch with drag and drop.

HubSpot CMS Hub - A Software Built to Scale with Your Company

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

HubSpot CMS Hub is a great tool for building marketing-based websites that attract customers and promote conversions. My primary use of HubSpot's CMS has been with nonprofits raising donations online. In every instance, as long as the CMS has been implemented thoughtfully and strategically, HubSpot has helped facilitate massive increases in marketing leads and donation increases. With HubSpot's new pricing model the entry-level subscription is entirely free! This is a bold move that I am incredibly grateful for my smaller clients whose budgets are small.

Pros

  • Drag & Drop Website Building
  • Marketing Funnel Integration
  • Customer Support

Cons

  • Website Template Marketplace
  • Random Support Blackout Periods
  • Pricing Model Increases Between Subscriptions

Likelihood to Recommend

HubSpot CMS Hub is a great fit for $1 Million+ orgs looking to take the next step in their online marketing and presence. If you need a more streamlined approach to your website, with more purposeful tools to convert online visitors, HubSpot CMS Hub is definitely at the top of the list. The only scenario where HubSpot CMS Hub would not work well is for e-commerce sites looking to sell directly on their main site. HubSpot does not cater to e-commerce and would be a poor fit for online stores selling their products.

Hubspot CMS - Was the best but now getting better.

Rating: 7 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The Hubspot CMS hub has been primarily used for: 1. Creating website and marketing landing pages; 2. Creating newsletters through the design manager. Hubspot has our entire user database, and it is easier for us to categorize users by their product and website behaviour and accordingly target them. It is good to have everything customer-related in one spot. Recently, we've added podcasts to our marketing strategy, so Hubspot will be very helpful in deploying those.

Pros

  • Design Manager helps you design decent web pages and emails with less effort. Hubspot's designer manager is one of the best and most powerful yet easy to use.
  • Hubspot allows you to host your website and landing pages, which ensures that your marketing campaigns' conversions are correctly attributed.
  • Hubspot allows you to host your website and landing pages, which puts all your pages under one roof and makes them easier to manage and deploy.

Cons

  • Hubspot's blog editor isn't that great. We ended up building our own CMS specifically for blogs using Strapi.
  • Working collaboratively with the design manager isn't possible. It would be nice if there were a way to get feedback from the team.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you want all your marketing activities to be in one place, where your CRM and customer data exist, go for Hubspot's entire suite, which could include CMS, depending on your needs. If you have to create a company blog, marketing landing pages for events or lead generation, or send decently designed newsletters, Hubspot does the job well. Any company that has grown to enterprise level or has fragmented marketing should probably not use Hubspot CMS because of the fragmented activities that might occur. Hubspot's reporting can also break. Also, if you want your designed pages to be very creative with many animations, Hubspot CMS is probably not the way to go. But for anyone who is still finding their footing, go for it.

HubSpot CMS Hub a value for price CRM tool!

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

HubSpot CMS Hub helped us in below cases. 1. Marketing automation 2. Lead Management 3. Sales Automation 4. Database management

Pros

  • CRM integration
  • Smart content and Dynamic lists
  • Ease of use
  • Lead intelligence
  • Deduplication feature
  • Automated Workflows

Cons

  • Design and Development flexibility
  • Multilingual limitation
  • Lack of more advanced workflows

Likelihood to Recommend

I think HubSpot CMS Hub suits well when we need all in one platform like CRM tool, Marketing Automation and Sales Automation at one place and easy navigation and easy to use but it is less appropriate when use case is by larger companies where more advanced workflows are required.

Great to get quick marketing pages ready

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use HubSpot CMS as webinar and AD landing pages. The idea is to generate leads directly and let HubSpot collect data points directly versus the usual approach where marketers add HubSpot script to the main website. The pages are easy to make it you're able to get the right theme but they're not too customisable. I recommend these pages as a stop gap till you get your website up to speed.

Pros

  • Lowcode website builder
  • Themes
  • Integrations

Cons

  • The new builder experience is subpar
  • More customisations
  • Better SEO

Likelihood to Recommend

HubSpot CMS is great to quickly get web pages up and running. It tracks data points well and does what it advertises. I recommend you to use it when in smaller teams where there's not enough web development bandwidth or at larger orgs where it takes a while to get a page out.

User Friendly Contact Organization

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use HubSpot to manage around 5000 contacts for my territory. Contact information, tracking communication (emails, calls, meetings, unique notes for the contact or company) and associated deals. This is extremely helpful for refreshing one’s memory when reaching out again for future follow up and/or for other employees to view and pick up where the last staff left off. The automation feature for repetitive email templates and sequences of tasks is extremely helpful and efficient in doing my job. Work flows can also serve to be efficient and helpful in updating information or assigning a task. Pulling specified lists of contacts for reaching out or mailings is an ease. This software is very user friendly and easy to learn.

Pros

  • Sequences
  • Templates
  • Workflows
  • Storing information

Cons

  • Ability to add some property fields specific to individual companies that use the software.
  • Being able to mass email items in task list for multiple tasks that are the same but on different contacts.

HubSpot CRM Review AE perspective

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am the account executive here using HubSpot every day. It runs our pipeline and is where we implement all of our notes/data. Extremely helpful tool that consolidates information and helps us run our sales team. Sales can get really messy with information in many different places, but HubSpot is essential in our consolidation and metrics we keep for employees.

Pros

  • Organization
  • Data
  • Outbound emails/Sequencing

Cons

  • Tools are sometimes limiting for data reports
  • data reports
  • Sequencing has gotten worse over my 2 years. Templates are super strange.

Likelihood to Recommend

During the season when sales gets really hot, we can run multiple meetings a day. HubSpot helps us as a central location where account executives can catch up quick on information and see KPI's for our team.

HubSpot is not helpful in getting contacts or finding information. It is a place for implementing that information and using it effectively.
